I finally have time to post Champ's condo....what a day!!!

Champ had a pretty little green surf going last night. I didn't have to carb him at all. With the +2 of 54, I just fed him his regular mini meal of raw food which bumped him up to a 63. He fell back down to 55 an hour later, but it was time for another mini meal so I gave him a little more raw food. About 45 minutes later, onset had set in and he was down one more point so I felt he needed just a little sumptin sumptin so I gave him a smidge of FF chopped grill (probable 4% or so). A couple hours later, my DD checked him (I was in bed) and he was at 73 so she was in the clear to head to bed herself. We had a bit of a bounce this AM cycle, but I'm not going to complain because it's not his hard bounce from the past. I can't wait to see what the PMPS is, though.

Champ has been kind of gimpy lately. I know he has arthritis and I can tell he's in a bit of pain. It looks like the arthritis is in his shoulder joints. I need to take him to the vet, but I have to wait until payday. It bothers me to see him hurting and I can't get him to the vet right now, but I've taken to waiting on him hand and foot so he doesn't have to walk much. I bring him his meals while he's lying in his bed and I hold the dish for him so he doesn't have to get up. I never thought I would be this kind of pet owner, but he truly is worth it. He's just the most wonderful cat ever (don't we all think that about our kitties?).

I hope everyone has had a great day and will have a great night!!!

I know what you mean, Patty...I often provide room service for my kitties! I'm sure most people think I'm crazy for the amount of time I spend policing the cats during meal time, but I can't allow anyone to steal anyone else's food because the bulk have special dietary needs. It is what it is, and they are worth it!

Have a great evening!!!

hahaha i know exactly what you mean about thinking you'd never be "that" kind of cat owner. suddenly we are them! pretty soon i'm going to find myself putting little clothes on punkin. i feel it coming!

can't remember if we've talked about the cosequin - is champ using one of the related ones - cosequin, dausequin, what's the third one? i think it's made a huge difference in punkin! could be these chinese herbs too. the one i'm using is Di Gu Pi - which is Lycium Bark, used for inflammation. it's either one of those, or the acupuncture, but one of them has made it so he can jump straight from the floor to a dining table. you might look into them.

Not a bad bounce after all those pretty greens. I know what you mean about "that kind of pet owner." DH says we run a pet nursing home and it feels like it somedays between Tarragon and Charlie.

Good luck when you get Champ to the vet. Adequan is the other one I think Julie was thinking of. We use it on Charlie and it has been great.

Have a great night Patty!
