I have noticed that when he has bounced high and then gets a shot and starts to drop, that he gets so much energy, its like all that sugar in his system suddenly gets metabolised all at once and he goes nuts. At around 2am I hear him running round the house with something crinkly ( i am thinking a ball of paper not sure), then he comes into the bedroom and starts fighting with his big teddy ( its almost the size of him) and I can hear his back legs going at it, then he gives up and starts attacking the door. I had to get up then to prop the door open as he is prone to closing it and I dont want his tail, or someone elses getting caught. Then he goes to play fight with Bailey. This felt like it went on for hours but I think maybe half an hour at most.

Looks like he is coming down from his bounce which is great. Whats not so great is that he had a cow pat style soft poo this morning so I am concerned the diarrhea might be coming back. If it does the vet wants to swab him for bacteria but we need to wait till it comes back properly.

Assuming he doesnt get any greens by end of day, what does everyone think about another increase? I was waiting to see how the new pen kicked in but not seeing as much of a difference as I thought.

I can't believe it, I am freaking out, I just found another lump on Tiggy... It's the size of a pea up by his shoulder. It's hard but mobile, and under the skin so it doesn't look or feel the same as the last one... What are the chances though that its something different? They said they got it all last time, clean margins and everything and here's another one...... I can't afford a $1200 surgery once a month to remove these omg omg omg.. He is only seven..

I hear you on the omg.

Hopefully it is just a cyst or something, but it may be better to remove it sooner rather than later?

Poor Tiggy needs a break here. cat_pet_icon

I hope so, I am really losing it,, we have had a lot of bad luck (although not as much as roni) over the last few months and I had a breakdown a few weeks ago.. I don't know if I can cope with this too.

Hi Wendy,

Don't panic, tho I know that's easy to say and hard to do. If its so close to the surface, it sounds like a cyst. You'll have to take him to check it out and see. I'll be sending healing vines & hoping its nothing.

Good night.

Hugs,
Melanie & Racci

Hi Wendy,
We are sending prayers and positive thoughts that this is nothing to be worried about. Try to stay calm. Have the vet look at it and don't worry prematurely.

Sending you lots of strength and lots of scritches to Tiggy,

Ella & Rusty

You're planning on taking Tiggy in to the vet for the swab, the vet can check out whatever this is. Is the lump in the same area as where you shoot? Some cats will get scar tissue or a fat lump in those areas.

And yes, I think increasing is a good plan.

The lump is right beside his shoulder joint.. we dont shoot there so its not that. (we rotate his shot location anyway)

Diarrhea is coming back so you are right, we will do the swab at the same time.

Wendy, sending calming vines and healing vines that this isn't anything serious for Tiggy. Keep us posted dear!

Jo
