Yesterday was a rainbow day, although I didn't see any yellow. And Neko played tricks on me and had a very Lantus like PM cycle. :o

12/6 Recap:
AMPS 93  +3 313 +10 121
PMPS 146 +3.5 105 +5 67   +6 78  +8 116

It's a regular Neko day, although she seems to be staying away from the solarium in spite of the sun. She did venture out onto the deck for a few minutes but it was COLD! Brave girl, I didn't even want to hold the door open for her. We seemed to have dodged the snow bullet for the moment. Weather guys have been promising it since last Monday, now the forecast says Tuesday. In the mean time, it's cold for us. I love watching Neko reaction to snow when it first comes. She really doesn't like stepping in it.

I'm a bit late putting up the condo. I've been busy working on my red jalepeno (home grown) salsa sauce for a veggie dish for the rowing club year end party and awards banquet. I get to make a speech nailbite_smile - I'll make it short. I'll probably send DH home to to T/F/S tonight. It's only 10-15 minutes away from home.

Happy Caturday everyone. Healing vines to those that need them. I'm so glad to hear Zener's got his appy back.

If there's a rainbow, let me know if you find a pot of gold  Good luck on the speech! I hope Neko continues to feel fine, and keeps her little paws warm :-D

Nice and flat, Neko, just like your beans row. :-D :-D Thank you for all of your good wishes for our guy. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

+9 126
And back we go. Neko went out on the deck again for about a minute. She thought about going downstairs to the back yard, but came to her senses. I've found a new use for insulin syringe boxes. I need a decorated box for boat name suggestions and the syringe box is just the right size.

@Rachel - Neko tried the cold deck, but no dice. It's -3C here. I know - we are all wimps.

@Liz - Back to Sweden again, but I much prefer 2 colour to 3 colour cycles. Neko's got her dental scheduled for 12 days from now. nailbite_smile So I'm paying extra attention to any I see between now and then.

Maybe Neko would enjoy the little booties! Really, what cat doesn't love things strapped to their feet  Good luck with your speech tonight. I envy those with the confidence to be able to do public speaking. I stand in front of a group to address them, and everything goes black...Yup, I'm suddenly blind
Your red jalepeno salsa sauce sounds super yummy! Most people would ask for the recipe...I ask for stocking stuffers

Have a wonderful night Wendy and stay warm!

I hope Neko keeps surfing since you'll be out tonight. Good luck with your speech.

I can't even imagine Shasta in the snow! LOL!  Neko's looking nice today. Have fun with the sauce and the speech. You'll be great!

Hi Wendy!
What a cold day today!!!
Smart choice for Neko for wanting to stay indoor!

Good luck with the speech and home-made salsa!

Kitties were glad to see us back. Of course, we were 1/2 hour late with the +3 meal.   Looks like Neko is keeping on with her blue theme tonight. Beans are now stuffed too and ready to join the sleeping kitties. Speech was pretty easy, mostly thanking people for what they'd done that year and giving out awards.

@Kim, Carla, Deborah, Mariko - Thanks for keeping Neko company while we were gone. Car said -8C tonight. Brrr!

seriously - you don't have this arctic blast? i thought for sure you did. we're at about 10* and supposed to get below zero tonight. eugene is already at -2*. i've never experienced it this cold. brrr.

glad neko's doing fine tonight! good girl! cat_pet_icon

@Julie - It's around 17F for us - cold enough when you have to go outside in dress and leggings. I think the nearby ocean helps moderate the temps. Below zero F is COLD!! We'd have to go up to the top of the mountain to get that.
