Good Morning LL!!
(Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa~), and Happy Catmint Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for business! They are running a Caturday Catnip special today, in honor of Catmint Caturday - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese.
Best order early! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It is my bean's fav! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts too!
I hope everyone had a great Furday. Mine was busy busy busy.... and frozen solid outside. It is 21 right now here, predicted 16, with tops at 29. and we won't make it out of the 20's today. Yesterday we made it to maybe 31. When the winds picked up in the late afternoon hours it was just plain cold out there.
We are due for sun today, YAY! Yesterday we had that too. We were off to a children's museum yesterday. Nicholas really enjoys the place. They have this treehouse there, lots of ladders, and climbing stuff, open spaces top side, lots of climb up, climb down, with things to do topside. it goes up and floor and a half. Those kids love that thing, us parents down below watch and wonder, as one cannot see, totally, what they are doing. They also have a section that uses water jets to make music with drums, chimes and symbols. That was mesmerizing for him. One part requires thinking, logic to make it work. it was great to see Nicholas working that so that it did what it was intended to so. William was involved with the water stuff. he so wnated to touch it play with it. HAHA: Just like big brother!
We all agree that KidsQuest rocks! We went out for Lunch with my DD after the museum. What fun time! Red Robin was fun, good, and a great family time. I did take Nicholas Swimming late yesterday afternoon too. As tired as he was he still wanted to go. Amazing that energizer FISH can still summon up all he has and swim non-stop, warp speed, full of love for the water when the chance is there. We swam for about an hour, until the fuel jets had run dry. Per Nicholas Swimming is MAJOR COOL! We have a new tradition. Friday night swims means that he has a buger and ries and milkshake "pigh-out after the swim. he so looks forward to that, laughs and smiles and what he sees as the best food ever. Burgers and Fries RULE! What a great day!
Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!
It is oddly quiet here this morning.... too quiet.... It seems this is the norm every Caturday... hmmmm... somehow I remember writing this last Caturday too. What is up with the quiet Caturdays???? ;-) :? They were good kitties yesterday. Lola was Lola: more bag and box chewing. She did get into the garlands, batted them around for a while, but no damage done. YAY! We had a day of frig riding, door pounding, and general marathon running. She has such a zest for life. Bug and Elsa were good kitties. Bug continues to use the last of Mannie's beds. An overstuffed fluffy thing that sits by the window. It was nice to see him in it. Fits him perfectly too. GO BUG! Elsa was Elsa today: the cool, calm, and collected matriarch of the group. ALot of time napping yesterday. The tree will come out of the box today, and let the games begin! I can hardly wait to see what happens with Lola, and Bug....    Wish me luck! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!
Have a great day everyone. it is a for sure catch up day here: shopping, errands, laundry and some cleaning. And recovery time. I thoroughly enjoyed having both boys these past three days, but need some regroup time.  So that shall be today. That and an afternoon walk, to the shore I hope! We are still frozen, It will be a a bundled up walk. ;-) ;-) I love the park and the shore when it is frozen. the frost and ice there are gorgeous... .
