Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa~), and Happy Catmint Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for business! They are running a Caturday Catnip special today, in honor of Catmint Caturday - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It is my bean's fav! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts too!

I hope everyone had a great Furday. Mine was busy busy busy.... and frozen solid outside. It is 21 right now here, predicted 16, with tops at 29. and we won't make it out of the 20's today. Yesterday we made it to maybe 31. When the winds picked up in the late afternoon hours it was just plain cold out there. We are due for sun today, YAY! Yesterday we had that too. We were off to a children's museum yesterday. Nicholas really enjoys the place. They have this treehouse there, lots of ladders, and climbing stuff, open spaces top side, lots of climb up, climb down, with things to do topside. it goes up and floor and a half. Those kids love that thing, us parents down below watch and wonder, as one cannot see, totally, what they are doing. They also have a section that uses water jets to make music with drums, chimes and symbols. That was mesmerizing for him. One part requires thinking, logic to make it work. it was great to see Nicholas working that so that it did what it was intended to so. William was involved with the water stuff. he so wnated to touch it play with it. HAHA: Just like big brother!  We all agree that KidsQuest rocks! We went out for Lunch with my DD after the museum. What fun time! Red Robin was fun, good, and a great family time. I did take Nicholas Swimming late yesterday afternoon too. As tired as he was he still wanted to go. Amazing that energizer FISH can still summon up all he has and swim non-stop, warp speed, full of love for the water when the chance is there. We swam for about an hour, until the fuel jets had run dry. Per Nicholas Swimming is MAJOR COOL! We have a new tradition. Friday night swims means that he has a buger and ries and milkshake "pigh-out after the swim. he so looks forward to that, laughs and smiles and what he sees as the best food ever. Burgers and Fries RULE! What a great day!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!   It is oddly quiet here this morning.... too quiet.... It seems this is the norm every Caturday... hmmmm... somehow I remember writing this last Caturday too. What is up with the quiet Caturdays???? ;-) :? They were good kitties yesterday. Lola was Lola: more bag and box chewing. She did get into the garlands, batted them around for a while, but no damage done. YAY! We had a day of frig riding, door pounding, and general marathon running. She has such a zest for life. Bug and Elsa were good kitties. Bug continues to use the last of Mannie's beds. An overstuffed fluffy thing that sits by the window. It was nice to see him in it. Fits him perfectly too. GO BUG! Elsa was Elsa today: the cool, calm, and collected matriarch of the group. ALot of time napping yesterday. The tree will come out of the box today, and let the games begin! I can hardly wait to see what happens with Lola, and Bug....    Wish me luck! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!

Have a great day everyone. it is a for sure catch up day here: shopping, errands, laundry and some cleaning. And recovery time. I thoroughly enjoyed having both boys these past three days, but need some regroup time.  So that shall be today. That and an afternoon walk, to the shore I hope! We are still frozen, It will be a a bundled up walk. ;-) ;-) I love the park and the shore when it is frozen. the frost and ice there are gorgeous... .

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

I read that the Friends of Felines Rescue Center hangs their tree from the ceiling. Something to consider, Michelle.     That Lola is quite the rascal. We had cold and damp last weekend, very unusual for us. Stay warm!
Liz

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Morning Liz ~O) ~O) ~O) I have seriously considered this: hanging the tree from the ceiling... but (!!!) Lola can jump six feet in the air.... there will be no stopping her, should she want what she sees. HEY! That may be kinda fun: swinging tree with a cat as its catalyst. I so SO SEE that!    O.M.G. Will do on the warm.... it is so cold out.... my extra cool christmas ~O) almost froze on the way home from the coffee shop. oh the HORRORS! :o

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Stay warm today Michelle!! That is some cold temps for you!
I just love the Kids Quest place!! I wish there was something like that near me - what fun it looks like :-D

I have never heard of hanging a tree from the ceiling :o Sounds interesting~ But, I can picture Lola in the hanging tree, swinging back and forth!

Have a great Saturday!

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Morning Jane ~O) ~O) ~O) Oh yes on the temps! BRRRRR! and staying warm, for sure! KIds Quest is a great venture, geared for the preschool group up to about 8/9 years. They do a great job. I know a few that hang their tree, and it does work, for them. I know too, for sure, that would be a temptation that Lola could not refuse. She jumps at anything a hanging now, I can only imagine what a tree would do for her. :o :o :o :o :o SWING!!! SWING!!! SWING!!!

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Love that kids quest! What great fun for the kids. I too am loving the hanging tree, swinging Lola scenario  have a great day Michelle and stay warm!

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

How funny on the idea of hanging the tree. Lola would definitely be swinging from it. I can't wait to hear what she does when you get the tree up. How cool on the KidsQuest. That does look like a lot of fun.

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We are still frozen here. Top temp today was 27, 16 expected tonight. no snow though, so far..... WOO HOO! A heat wave!! We are due to stay cold for a few more days, then warm upon, back to the rains for us. it amazes me that with all this cold we have not had any snow... Paws crossed that it stays that way. ;-) I went to the shore today, and THAT WAS COLD (!!!) when the winds picked up. I stayed warm though so all was good. I had a good time. I missed most of the morning frost, but no matter. The ice formations were fun, and ever so pretty. The mouth of the creek was all frozen over, and really very pretty. Glad I went, spent about 3 hours there, got maybe 5.5 miles in. Maybe tomorrow morning on the frost. We shall see on going tomorrow early to catch the morning frost. .... If it isn't too cold to venture on down there. Even I have my limits....  Yesteryda afternoon I out up the tree. sheshhhhh.... :o :o :o OMG, "that cat" will be the death of me.   She's already climbed it over a dozen times... now it sits crooked. HAHA. Well got that fix, sort of, weighted it down with a some free weights I have, see it that will keep it upright. Lola may win this war. An adventure with all of this for sure.   I will post the Picassa links to the hike and Miss Lola's Christmas-Capades in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Kim - KidsQuest is a great place! A play place where a child can actually learn, and have so much fun doing so. OMG on the hanging tree. If she weren't such a good jumper.... She jumps up on everything, no matter how high. :o THX on today - it was fun.

Hi Carla - I have friends who do have a hanging tree, and it does work well for them. I'd really consider it if Lola wasn't so good at those flying leaps. and yes, Lola would be swinging from it. FOR SURE! Wait til you see the video.... it will be posted tomorrow. I agree on KidsQuest - really a great place for kids.

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Looking forward to tomorrow links. Your statement, "Lola may win this war" makes it all the more interesting

Re: 12/7 LOOSE LIPS: busy, busy, busy.... HAPPY CATURDAY LL!

Morning Jane ~O) ~O) ~O) oh yes.... well it is still standing this morning, sort of. I need a better stand, but not too sure that is possible with the "boxed Trees". One of the support legs has cracked, therefore the lean. aiyee..... darn cat!
