Amps 116 Libre

Nice amps today. Nice cycle overnight :cool::D on Libre (so a bit higher on a handheld meter). Her Libre alarm woke me at +10 overnight (around 4:30 am) and I gave a tsp of 6% :coffee::coffee:
Slept on the sofa since at +5 she took a dip and I didn’t know where she was going to head so at the +10 alarm, I was close by.
We are going to head back to the hospital to visit the new grandbaby today maybe around +7 if Ivy is stable (then I will go over too.)
Baby is in NICU as he wasn’t eating in his own and was very sleepy. (They let us go in one at a time to hold and snuggle him). Hoping it’s not a huge deal but they were concerned enough to watch him closely. They put a feeding tube in to make sure he got food.
I’m hoping today he’s doing what he should do on his own.

Supposed to meet friends for dinner tonight. So need Ivy to have a very stable day and night for me. I know I’m putting a lot of pressure on her and she seems to want to be active:facepalm:
Well, we’ll see how today goes:)

Hi Heike, thank you for the good wishes. I hope so too. Headed there shortly.
Guess Ivy can stay home in her cozy bed being the princess that she is.
I hope you and Biney are having a good day. How was her skin looking today in preparation for the new Libre tomorrow keeping everything crossed that everything goes well:bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Hello Staci! I hope all is well for the baby. My son had to stay in the NICU for a few days as well when he was born, then he was fine. Hopefully this little boy will be eating on his own very soon.
I also hope Ivy behaves for you so you can go back. Have a great day!

Hi Cecile, I’m so glad your son did so well. I’m sure it was scary for you.
It seems the grand baby is doing better today. Hoping he can be back in the room with his Mom tonight and they should be released to go home tomorrow.

We had a nice visit today and maybe next week I’ll see them once they are at home. If Ivy permits of course.

I hope you and Bella are enjoying a nice weekend :bighug::cat:

Thanks, Carla. I also fed her 2% food tonight while out so that keeps her surfing a bit higher, too. Plus she was lower overnight last night. So maybe a bit of a bounce.

Hi Karolina, thank you. Baby Cameron seems to be doing better today. Hoping they all go home tomorrow to begin their new reality.
Funny, holding him felt so weird. I mean he’s not even 7 lbs and aunt Ivy is 15 lbs. :smuggrin:

I hope you are home with your boys. Give them lots of hugs :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you, Deb. Yes it’s our first grandchild. Hard to believe. Feels very strange.
I’m glad Ivy cooperated so I could go meet him. I couldn’t go to the baby shower since she threw a low cycle at me that day.
So there will be plenty I can’t do since she’s my baby. :smuggrin:

We do what we can. :)

Hi Madeline, thank you :)
It was a sweet visit with the little one. Glad Ivy was ok. I fed her a teaspoon of 6% before I left just so she may coast along.

It was sheer luck she wasn’t having a dive cycle o_O

Hope you and Butch aware staying cozy. Boy it’s been cold. (I don’t like our winter weather, I never have).
