Yesterday WAS Lupita Friday but Gracie was too tuned in to the plumbers being here to give Lupita much notice :lol: :lol: And Lupita was REALLY busy between being off after Thanksgiving and cleaning after the contractors (although I had already vacuumed/mopped the bathroom, I don't clean to her standards :lol: :lol:). The Principessa has been hanging out with me today wherever I am after major cuddles last night. In fact, both cats have been my companions today. I wonder if they are starting to realize Gussie isn't coming back because they've been a bit quieter lately. Or, it could be all the work being done around here. They are both eating great and have all 5Ps in place so I'm sure it's transitory.

The ice maker overflowed last night and I got up to a freezer absolutely coated in ice EVERYWHERE. It caused the temp in the frig to go up so the thermometer with the insulin read 33 degrees. The pen did not seem colder than usual and the insulin was not even thicker so I'll just keep an eye on it. We've got about 40u left in it.

I've got to wrap up the video for my mom today or tomorrow. The anniversary of my dad passing is the 13th and I want to have the cd to her by then (she'll never figure out how to open it online so that is a last resort). It's so hard to limit the photos....I have so many and my sisters all sent me some; it's been a labor of love.

Hope you get that video completed... sounds like the cats are doing their job... supervising. :-D

Gracie ignored Lupita??!! Not even a little hisssss? :lol: :lol: :lol: The snowstorm just blew in here an hour ago. Good thing Tobey sent use that Fireball, we're going to need it! :-D :-D :-D

That's a nice looking mid day number for Gracie:) I hope the insulin is a-ok from the freezer problem :o Good luck on the video, it sounds amazing. Hugs!

Wow on the ice in the freezer. I hope the insulin is okay. Nice blues for Gracie today. I hope she throws in some green soon.

Yikes on the fridge if the Levemir was down to 33? :o :o

I have both electronic and manual thermometers in mine.

So at least I know that's not *the* problem with the juice. ;-)

I cannot believe what I just read...Gracie IGNORED Lupita?! Those plumbers must have been something else!!!! :lol: Sorry to hear about the ice maker, but at least the insulin looks like it got spared! Happy Caturday!

I just love reading your condos :-D Lots of action at your place again! No wonder the kitties want to stick close to mama :-D They gotta protect you from all the madness!
Hope your insulin is ok after the great refrigerator ice age. And how clever to have a thermometer in with the insulin. I have got to do that.
Sounds like a beautiful thing you are doing for your Mom. I hope you're able to complete it on time :-D

Nice cycle for Princess Grace! I think both kittehs are on mama guard duty too. Oh boy on the plumbers, but I gotta ask. Do you ever stop remodeling? ;-) :lol: :lol: I bet you start all over again!

Good luck getting the video finished, what a great idea.

Ice makers are notorious! I leave them unconnected and just use ice-cube trays (but then, I don't live in the desert!). I hope the Lev. is OK.

Your mom is going to love your picture project.

Have the plumbers finished???

Hi Marje. Gracie is starting her evening off nice. Hope she comes down to thos Gracie Greens as the night progresses.

It must have been difficult selecting photos. You're so fortunate to have a lot. Your mom is going to love the video.

Bummer on the ice maker. Suggestion...if you replace the ice maker don't use an after market one. Ours went out and I saved a few bucks with an after market one but about every other day we here it making a clicking sound and when we check there's an ice cube stuck between the fingers. It's a pain-shouldn't have been so cheap and bought an OEM.

Hope the plumbers are all done and your reno is well on it's way to completion.
