Happy Caturday!

Yesterday's Condo

Cobb didn't seem too interested in dinner last night. I fed at PMPS and most of it was still in his bowl around 1:30am. I cleaned it out and gave him a fresh bowl and he ate most of it up. I think this led to the spike in BG at 2:45am. He seems fine this morning -- bugging us for food around 6am, so I gave him a few bites of boiled chicken to tide him over.

Looking forward to seeing some good numbers today, although I've noticed most of his lower numbers come overnight. Any rhyme or reason to that?

Most cats go lower at night Suzanne, which is why we're so adamant about getting a "before bed" test.

Other than that, you'll find out quickly that feline diabetes doesn't have much in the way of rhyme or reason...LOL

Well, I would have hoped for better numbers but I'll take what I can get - meaning no spikes into the 500s.

Got my hubby testing and shooting this evening since I'm going out of town this weekend. He's staying here to make sure Cobb gets the insulin he needs since we're on this fast track.

Cobb had a good day. He even came downstairs to sniff the Christmas tree and because he smelled some chicken! But he rarely comes downstairs anymore - since the little bean came along. I doubt he'll make that a habit since the baby has become a bit more mobile!

Good for DH!! Glad you're training him right! :lol:

All in all, not a bad day for Cobb...and you did get a curve today and like you said, no icky black numbers either!

It sounds like he's feeling better too if he's out and about more than he had been.

Don't worry while you're gone next weekend...we'll be here to help advise DH :-D

Thanks!! I appreciate it! He might not get as many test as I do, but I'll make sure he gets preshots, one mid-cycle and try to get a before bed test. At least the preshots.
 
hoping with everyone else for Cobb to come on down. If you don't see a blue number tomorrow, you'll probably want another .5u increase tomorrow night.

if you show DH how to post, we'll coach him next weekend. hope you're getting to do something fun!
