We're back. There was no mass on the spleen but the spleen is enlarged. There are multiple nodules around the area and they did needle biopsies. We should know more in 24-48 hours. Dr. said he feels it's cancer. It could be one of two kinds. The one type will respond to chemo and the other not. I asked if it's possible they're benign and he said it's possible but unlikely. He will send the report to my email and I'll post it when I receive.

I looked up the vet I found that treats cats only. She does palliative and hospice care as well as pain management. I might take Blue to her for management.

I'm sad

I'm sorry I can't contribute much at the moment, Patty. I've no experience with the findings they mention. As Elise says - and hard as it must be to deal with - right now waiting for further information is the thing to do.

No sedation. Blue is a great cat. That's why I keep saying out of all mine I am blessed it was Blue. He comes running when I call him for testing. None of my others would cooperate.

I agree, wait on the results. I'm praying for the best outcome possible.
Thanks for the prayers.

I'm doing okay. I have my bad moments but am taking the advice you and Elise offered to wait for the results. I'm exhausted because I had to get up early and didn't get to bed until 2 a.m. I'd like to sleep tonight but worry Blue will go down fast and I'll be up all night again.
