continues, not quite so bad an AMPS this morning though. Hoping for a slower, smoother slide today. I'd missed a reduction for a 39 and Libby thought a reduction might even Tess's bounces out. Frankly they've gotten worse, I've never had a HI reading before. :? We're thinking about raising it back up unless things smooth out today.

John's DM passed away yesterday. It was expected, but still a shock when it finally happens. He will be going back to South Dakota next week and I'll be BIC for a week.

It's been cold here too, frost warnings the last 2 nights and last night and last night we got down to 28º. All the tender stuff was inside or covered though. I hope all who are in the path of the "real" winter storm are safe and warm.

Hope Tess gives you the slow slide you're looking for today and then becomes....FLAT CAT! I'm thinking South Dakota must be even colder than we're getting over here. Save travels to John and comfort vines headed your way. Have fun shopping!

Hey Tess, time to get off the roller coaster. Yep, it's time now!

Ann, I know how you feel about getting these weird, unused to, peaks and valleys. Rusty is having a time of it, too. Maybe it's the time of year? Do you know how old Tess is? I think that as they get older and less active it may be harder for their bodies to stay well regulated. We don't know Rusty's age, but he has definitely slowed down over the last year or so and doesn't get much exercise, doesn't play the way he used to.

We are sorry to hear about John's DM. It's never easy, even when it is expected. I hope he will have a safe trip to SD and that he won't get caught in that big winter storm. Please extend our sympathy to John and his family in SD.

So sorry to hear about John's DM. Comfort vines for all of you. Where in SD? We lived in Brookings for 3 years while DH worked on his PhD.

I missed the HI. I hope the decrease smoother some of that out. Have a great day Ann!
