Holding Neko, Wendy, Ron and Theo close today as Neko begins her journey to the Bridge. Safe journey, dear girl.

Good Morning L&LL,

Rusty is keeping vigil on his perch this morning. It's going to be a sunny day today, after the morning mists clear.
Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate quite a bit of his nighttime fuds. He zoomed around this morning. The vitamin B-12 shots have really energized him. We are on a 2-week schedule now (next shot is next Monday), then, after the next 2 shots, we go to once- a- month as maintenance.

Wishing all a good day and sending vines to all kitties and beans in need.

So great to hear the B-12 shots are giving an extra boost for Rusty. I wonder if it's OK for you to add a daily capsule in his food once you go to the once a month. From what I understand they can't OD on it. What they don't use is expelled through urine. Keep enjoying those snuggles and eating your fuds little man.

Hi Karen,
I don't want to do this because Rusty doesn't like stuff added to his food, even stuff that supposedly has no taste. Also, most brands of cat food have some B-12 in them already. Also, when excess is expelled through urine, is it logical to assume that it might increase urination? That would not be good! But thanks for the thought!

I remember B12 energized Trix, too. Unfortunately we had to stop because she had a weird neurological reaction to her second or third one (can't remember which)....she's got some minor neurological issues that certain things (like bupe and apparently B12) magnify. It's great hearing that Rusty has the zoomies!!

Oh boy do I understand that! It was long ago that Doodles needed the B-12 for his neuropathy so not sure about the urine output whether it was more or not. His vet at the time was Ok with it but then again...:rolleyes: Many with IBD kitties use it regularly too. Any who, you certainly know how to take care of Rusty but thought I'd mention it.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

What a nice Rusty report. And I see he made the lagoon today too. :D:cool: B-12 helped energize Mannie too. We were on much the same schedule as you. You are looking mighty fine Rusty. Lola LOVES your zoomies! She is a master at them, and wondered if maybe you want to go zooming tomorrow? :smuggrin:

I hope you had a good day today. It is cold here, well cold for us, 35 tops today. We are due to hit he mid 20's at night for a couple of days, may even get some snow time out of it all. BRRRRR! Not to thrilled with the snow aspect, as we get so little of it, so when we do havoc resigns supreme everywhere.... :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Rusty's numbers were a bit off today. His appetite was OK, but not great. He zoomed in the early morning and then spent the rest of the day on his perch or in his baskets. I think he was thinking of Neko.

Today was a beautiful day of sunshine on the snow. Tomorrow it's going to get warmer and the snow will turn to rain. And on Thursday the "lake-effect" area is supposed to get about 30 inches of snow! (we won't get much, if any, of that storm).

Remembering Neko tonight. What a wonderful kitty she was. Hugs to you and Ron, Wendy (@Wendy&Neko ).
