Yesterday green PMPS

Can you believe it? After a green PMPS last night, Papaya actually stayed in the lagoon for the evening and didn't bounce to black today. She hasn't been overly hungry this morning which seems to coincide with a more gradual drop. In fact she even left her second breakfast alone until about +1

I've been playing "flip the cat" at test time because Papaya always seems to flop down on the same side, and that ear needs a break. She is not impressed with being flipped over and always thinks I'm up to something she should complain about! She doesn't mind "cat curling" though, as in the kitchen she always flops down near chair legs where there's no space, so I end up sliding her along the lino like a curling rock to a better testing spot a few feet away . . . and she doesn't protest at all.

LOL! Cat curling! That's a hilarious mental picture!! Glad she decided to stay in the lagoon for a bit. Maybe she's finally getting the right idear!

Fingers crossed that this excellent run for Papaya is just the beginning. :-D Oh how sweet it would be if you could have a bouncy break!!! Cat curling...awesome

Hi Tara, Carla and Kim! At least I don't put any spin on her when I do the cat curling  She's a little higher tonight but still very decent for her. Oh how I hope it is the beginning of a long "bouncy break"!

Vines for a long bouncy break ;-)
Too funny on the cat curling
Hoot always lays on one side but every once in awhile he decides he wants to lay on the other side which never works because he won't let me poke that ear.
So over he goes usually in protest :-x  I have to let him think he's in charge...oh wait...he is
Enjoy your night Amy!

The things us silly beans do for our kitties  Ah well, I always liked curling when we did it in school....a loooong time ago  Although the rocks I used were not furry and capable of getting up and walking away  I'm glad you guys had a lower bounce, I hope Papaya continues to flatten that out :-D

Thanks for visiting, Pam and Rachel!
Pam - funny about Hoot only letting you use one ear. I wonder if cats have dominant sides like humans. He's probably thinking he'll just pretend to let you be in charge when you flip him over!

OK that's a totally Alice In Wonderland scene in my head  I love it, another prairie girl who took curling in school - I think that may have been the only gym class I got good marks in, though our team was seriously disadvantaged because we had a confused leftie on our team who couldn't figure out how to reverse things . . .

Haha, I don't recall being very good at it. But it was fun! I liked throwing better than sweeping though...I still hate sweeping  Chyna prefers her left ear for testing. If I try it the other way I get a very annoyed look!
