Sending more hugs on what I know is a painful, world out of kilter feeling morning for your household:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
I know it's going to take lots of time for that beautiful memory filled patch to stitch over the Neko heart shaped hole in your heart...one super fine, beautiful stitch at a time... I picture it as a brown-moth shaped beautiful patchwork piece Wendy...
:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thinking of you, Ron and Theo today, Wendy. I hope you were able to get some sleep. I can imagine that getting out of bed this morning was a difficult experience, knowing that special someone wasn't waiting for you. It will take awhile to get used to not having to watch the clock, coordinate excursions with shot time, set alarms in the middle of the night, etc. I know you'd do it all in heartbeat to have Neko back with you, whole and healthy. Don't forget that, even before your locket is ready, she will always be right there with you. And so will we. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Dear Wendy, Ron and Theo, my deepest condolences to all of you on the loss of your beautiful and beloved Neko. She will always be in your hearts and you were all blessed to have each other and to love each other. You took such good care of her. Many hugs and healing prayers for all of you at this very sad and most difficult time for all of you. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

It was another sunny day in the solarium today. There was a black and white kitty enjoying it by himself. Theo's been fairly clingy and I heard him going around the house mewing this morning. I'm not sure if he saw another kitty outside or was calling for Neko. Or saw her spirit. He did let me sleep in this morning, though of course I was wide awake at AMPS time today. Neko's gift of the PJ party the night before had me so exhausted I slept solidly last night. I stopped at Dr. Sue's clinic to day to pick up Theo's pred, and had a good cry with the long time receptionist there.

There were no regrets today, just sadness. It was time and Neko's body just couldn't support her spirit anymore. I am trying to focus on memories of a younger Neko. The weather here is also honouring her memory. The Mannie sunbeams continue for one more day, before the snow storm starts anew tomorrow night. There should be good star watching again tonight.

Sorry I'm not responding to each of you individually, I just don't have the energy yet. Having this conversation with so many people with shared experiences is really helping me. :bighug: But saying that @Barb & Checkers (GA) - I still have the picture you sent me of Samantha, they are indeed twins and I'm sure Neko was surprised to see a doppleganger amongst the greeters at the Bridge.

So much love and so many thoughts your way- I can feel Neko smiling down on you - feeling the freedom of her spirit- and her love for you :)
Stay warm and cozy during that storm- will be thinking of you! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

It's been 20 years since I lost my beloved Gumbo, and I still miss her very very much. She was my best friend during 13 of the hardest years of my life. A more loving beautiful delightful kitty there never was. In 75 years of cats, I was privileged to know only four such remarkable cats. I miss them all four, and love them still. Of course, I love all my animals, but those four are particularly special.

I hope it's all true that we will meet again, where ever that may be. I hope that for you and Neko, too.

Please feel no obligation to answer our notes to you. It is not necessary. Only want to reach out to you, as you have so often reached out to us.

:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:hugs and love:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Gosh I remember the support I got here and especially from you when Scooter passed. This is such a kind place. I hope you find a way to stay because without you I would never have had those two extra years with Scooter. You and Neko have saved so many sugar kitty lives together.
The rainbow bridge is having a big sushi party tonight and they are all talking to Neko asking about all of us. They are probably showing her around to all the great solarium choices telling her to pick one for you all. I know this day is hard but you can always land here with us because we all understand.
Love and hugs!

Thinking of you tonight, Wendy, and remembering your precious Neko. I always have admired her beautiful long whiskers and eyebrows. What a girl! I'm glad she had that last time in the solarium to soak up the sun.

You know we are all here for you, surrounding you with love, as you move ahead.

Fly free little Neko, knowing you are loved and cherished.

Hmmm, for the first time ever I'm thinking this picture looks a bit brown moth-like. Perhaps Neko had a hand in it . . .

((WENDY))

I hope all your wonderful memories of a healthy, happy Neko are giving you some peace and strength at this sad time. I lost a heart kitty almost 17 years ago and I still miss him terribly. You never forget or stop missing your special kitties, but in time the pain lessens and becomes a duller ache, instead of a sharp pain. The amazing journey you and Neko took through FD and acro will always be a legend on FDMB and the love and care she received is a shining example of love.

Wendy, I have nothing but much, much love. Neko was such a lucky and blessed kitty to have such a great bean like you. I can't even fathom what you must be going through right now. Fluffy and I are sending all of our love to you and her. What a beautiful kitty... :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

So very sorry to read this news Wendy. Much love and many hugs to you and your family :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Fly free sweet Neko and may you land oh so softly in that giant solarium in the sky :rb_icon:

You are in my thoughts always Wendy. I was of course wondering how Theo was doing too and just read your post from last night. You're the strongest most amazing bean. There's a deep sadness in my heart just like the rest of here. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hugs to you Wendy. There is no greater testament to how much we love them than to help them journey to their next life peacefully and and with dignity.

Gentle journey to your tenth life beloved Neko. May you land softly in the land of love and light, where there is no pain and no disease.

I spent the day at my parents, getting them ready for the snowstorm that starts tonight - lots of moving firewood around and got groceries. On the way home I picked up the engraved trophies for this weekend's award dinner, then did an impromptu call to the pet crematorium, since I was in the neighbourhood. Neko was ready to come home. So I picked her up and now I don't have to go out in tomorrow's predicted ugly weather. It was a little emotional putting Neko's pendant around my neck. But it feels good knowing she is right on top of my heart.
