I'm so very sorry. It's so heartbreaking to lose our beloved kitties.

Thinking of you today with prayers and hugs....

But saying that @Barb & Checkers (GA) - I still have the picture you sent me of Samantha, they are indeed twins and I'm sure Neko was surprised to see a doppleganger amongst the greeters at the Bridge. It was another sunny day in the solarium today. There was a black and white kitty enjoying it by himself. Theo's been fairly clingy and I heard him going around the house mewing this morning. I'm not sure if he saw another kitty outside or was calling for Neko. Or saw her spirit. He did let me sleep in this morning, though of course I was wide awake at AMPS time today. Neko's gift of the PJ party the night before had me so exhausted I slept solidly last night. I stopped at Dr. Sue's clinic to day to pick up Theo's pred, and had a good cry with the long time receptionist there.
There were no regrets today, just sadness. It was time and Neko's body just couldn't support her spirit anymore. I am trying to focus on memories of a younger Neko. The weather here is also honouring her memory. The Mannie sunbeams continue for one more day, before the snow storm starts anew tomorrow night. There should be good star watching again tonight.
Sorry I'm not responding to each of you individually, I just don't have the energy yet. Having this conversation with so many people with shared experiences is really helping me.![]()

I opened the shower curtain this morning and there was a black and white there. Made my heart skip cause I haven't seen Theo do that yet. No kisses from him yet post shower, it's a work in progress.I keep thinking of Neko's after shower leg kisses![]()
