Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

12/5 AMPS=149; +2=169; +10.5=176
12/5 PMPS=221; +2=185; +4=155; +7.5=146

12/6 AMPS=124; +2=148; +7=75=121
12/6 PMPS=184

Lucy is feeling fine this morning.
She ate the 1st breakfast better than yesterday.
She had a bowel movement, and it was on a softer side.
I'll give it another day, and if it doesn't firm up, I'll try probiotic, although I don't like adding stuff to her food when her appetite is iffy.

Lucy wants something this morning.
She was walking around looking for something, and meowed to me in an asking tone.
My guess is that she wants Ginger's food, which is raw meat.
I let her lick Ginger's leftover a couple of days ago, and gave her a tiny lick yesterday, and she does love raw meat.
She had a bad case of IBD when I fed raw diet to Lucy years ago.
She was younger, so she stayed happy and energetic which made it worse for me because I didn't realize it was doing anything bad to her until almost too late, but her intestines condition got so bad that the vet thought she may not have long.
Another reason I couldn't see what it was doing to her is because I SO believed that I was doing the right thing.
This experience is why I am always so afraid to try something new that's "supposed to be good".
It was possibly something in the pre-mix powder she was reacting to, so I'd like to give raw diet another try, but I haven't been brave enough.
But she did and does LOVE raw meat diet.... dilemma dilemma.
Poor girl, she's always envious of what Ginger is eating.....

I hope everyone's having a nice Friday. Almost weekend!!!

Very nice start for Lucy today! I know how you feel about the fuds that they want but can't have. Sad to say, I have the opposite problem here....several of my cats are KibbleCrack addicts (long, long story), and needless to say, Trix would give her right paw to have their fuds (they won't touch hers with a 10 foot pole). She is so fast that if we just turn our heads for a split second, she is in their bowls...it's actually kinda funny, but I feel so bad for her at the same time. I wish I could get the Kibblers to eat better, but as I said...long story.

Given that Lucy is doing well, and you're juggling so many different things with her as it is, I would also be hesitant to change anything right now, especially given that she did have IBD issues in the past with the raw.

Sending solid poo vines to Lucy...have a great day, Mariko!!

I'm glad Lucy is feeling good. I hope her poo firms up and you don't need to add a probiotic.

Glad to hear Lucy is feeling good
It's so hard when you have to feed them different food. They always think their missing something
Momma could care less but Sissy always thinks she is missing out on something.
Enjoy your night Mariko!

Hi Mariko,

They always want what they cannot have!! I think I would be afraid to try raw again also. Funny how differently it can effect different kitties. I have tried the frozen raw foods, but Cleo had no interest. Civvie Opie loved it, but I was only trying it for Cleo. Sending firm poo vines for Miss Lucy!
Have a great night!

Nice surf Lucy! :-D Now be a good kitty and eat your own fuds and don't worry about what your sister is eating :-D Hopefully things will firm up for you before you need to intervene.
Have a great night Mariko!
