12/6 Honey pmps 115, +3 69, +4 65, +5 77

[Denise & Honey]

Honey's numbers stayed low last night, +9 was 79.
I wanted to get a +6 but I was up a lot in the night with Monster (hyper-T civie) who was puking. He still can't keep anything down today - meds side effect I guess.
Neither will he drink any water. I'll have to phone the vet and see if he has any suggestions.

These cats do like to keep you on your toes :shock:

I'm sorry about Monster. I hope the vet has some answers and it clears up RIGHT NOW!

Those are nice numbers.... looks a lot like Shadow's numbers when she had juice.

Have you tried tuna juice added to water, or shrimp water ( i add a little water to the shrimp I thaw out so it takes on the flavor, gets
Shadow to eat those brands she doesn't want. )

Lovely to hear that the numbers are similar to Shadows - that gives me more confidence that she may go OTJ :mrgreen:

Thanks for the kind thoughts and suggestions for Monster. He's eating and keeping it down - I'm just giving him 1tsp with water every hour.
Other suggestions from the hyper-T site have been Pepcid, Cerenia, raising his dishes off the floor and B-12 shots. Going to get the Pepcid tomorrow and order Cerenia. I also want to do the B-12 shot but I will probably need to take him to the vet to get it and then a prescription and I know how stressed he gets going there...

The vet said to skip the methimazole today so that could also be the reason why he's kept the food down. He's not himself though. Doesn't want to be touched - ducks under my hand when I try to stroke him. :cry:

Hi guys thanks for stopping by our condo! Nice to meet you guys, nice numbers for Honey! OTJ is very possible, Scrabble went otj 2 and a half years ago & stayed off until last month. Hoping we will be able to go otj again. Your doing great!

79 is high? lol!!! I wish my guys were that low.. 79 is fabulous!

Her numbers are looking great, I think even if she doesnt drop below 50 she still earns a dose decrease if she stays in normal cat BG range for a week. So a couple more days and then maybe you try 0.1IU?
