Hi Everyone,

I'm getting a late start today. I was having a reaction to my flu shot this morning, so didn't go on the hike and went btb instead. I'm feeling much better now. Rusty watched over me the whole morning. The weather is really awful, so I'm not too sad to be missing the hike. Temperature is dropping, the wind is howling, and it has started to snow. Good thing we got all our outdoor chores done yesterday!

Rusty has bounced from his greens of yesterday. He had a good night and this morning a good test, shot, and breakfast (Wellness Turkey). He has just eaten his Wellness Chicken lunch and is in his little bed by the radiator taking his "down time".

Yesterday was "outdoor-chores" day; this afternoon will be "indoor-chores" day, mainly continuing to deal with the months and months of junk mail and pleas from charities.

Hi Ella,
I'm with Rusty.. nothing beats a nice little warm spot when the winds are howling and the temp is low ;-)
So sorry that the flu shot made you a little sick. I'm glad your feeling better now.
I hope you have perfect weather for a hike tomorrow! Today sounds like a hot chocolate and good book day! soooo yuck on the junque mail

I wanted to thank you for the idea on anti-biotics for Ollie. I just asked his dr. - well, his nurse and he's going to get back to me.

Hi Ella and Rusty sorry about the crappy weather! Ugh! I do not miss living back east, we are definetly spoiled here in CA. Stinks that the flu shot made you sick but glad it went away quickly. Hope Rusty clears the bounce soon! Have a great day and enjoy doing the chores!

It looks like Rusty cleared his bounce nicely. I'm glad you're feeling better after the flu shot making you sick.

Lagoon meister is back where he should be. Looking good Rusty! I hope you are feeling better too Ella. The flu shots used to give me sore arms each time. In 2009 when the swine flu was around, things were so busy at the flu clinic that they ran out of the regular vaccine and I had to get the non-adjuvanted version and discovered it didn't hurt. It was the adjuvant that I reacted to.

Hi Ella, glad you got the flu shot, as I've been hearing on the news this year it is bad. I had mine a month ago and can't remember if I had any side effects. Mags is joining the Lagoonmeister this evening. :mrgreen: Very nice day for Rusty.

Hi Ella - I am glad you are feeling better after your flu shot. Weatehr sounds awful, but maybe the snow will be a good one, if there is such a thing. I so love snowfall, and how everything looks afterwards. Sorry you missed your hike. Maybe it was for the best.
