12/5 Ripley PMPS 149, plus new B vitamins

Tonight I gave Ripley (FD + CKD) her first homemade capsule of MethylB12 and Jarrow's B Right. It was wrapped in a thin covering of icky-smelling duck/pea Pill Pocket. (Seriously, they can't make those smell better?!?). I put it on her food plate; she spit it out a couple of times, then managed to eat it. I love feeling sneaky, especially when the outcome is successful

I hope she doesn't "catch on" to this new addition to her meals.

Does anyone have recommendations for a) administering capsules, and b) filling capsules? I just eyeballed the amount of powder (1/10th of a reg. B Right).

I don't use those B-vitamins so I can't really comment. When I used methyl B-12, I just added it to Gabby's food.

It would be worth asking about the administration etc. again tomorrow and adding the ? icon to your post so people know you have a query. I think I have heard mention of some people using some sort of medicine scales.
