Good Morning LL! Prayers to Jill and Mike for Mike's continued recovery. Sending healing vines to Tawny, JD, Rocket, and whoever else is needing them.
Today is Muffin's 13 month OTJ annifursary! And to celebrate, I'm taking her to the vet to recheck her bw and make sure everything is back to normal after her mystery infection last month. Didn't schedule that very well, did I? ohmygod_smile Oh well, sorry Baby Girl, I'll give you treats when we get home. I fully expect everything to come back normal. She is feeling good, eating well, and lots of furry purry loves for the bean. cat_pet_icon She does miss her play time, tho. The kittens are seriously cramping her style. She doesn't dare go down and play like she used to because the kittens hear her and come running to join in - she wants nothing to do with that. So I've decided that when I see that she is in a playful mood, I'll lock up the kittens and play with her. I think she'd like that.
Poor Sam (Muffin's mum) still refuses to come in the house because of the kittens. After our session with the animal communicator, I tried to slowly move her back inside by feeding her on the washing machine. She ate half a meal exactly twice, and now won't eat there at all. She has a cardboard box she's chosen to sleep in in the garage, so until I can figure out how to get her inside, I ordered her a heated kitty bed for Christmas.
Cleetus and Oscar are now 7 1/2 months old and crazy as ever! Cleetus, who is definitely DS's cat, has started joining me at bedtime each night for a rousing game of "undercover monster" where he chases my feet around under the covers. It's absolutely adorable, and I hope to get a video of it someday soon. Oscar is a typical teenager lately...the minute I tell him not to do something, he does it  He is still my sweet loving little fella, tasked with getting me up each morning for breffis by climbing over and on my head, purring so much he drools all over my face, and throwing himself down to cuddle, always inadvertantly (I hope) smothering me in the process. He's such a darling. These two definitely are keeping life interesting around here.
Shnookie is just doing wonderfully on his diet. He's down to 18lbs 10oz! \M/ Lately he's been braving the presence of the kittens and "shnuggling" with me each morning, which I just love of course. He growls when Oscar gets too close with his morning "wake up the bean" antics, but he doesn't leave the bed. Of course all this gets me up quicker, because I have to referee...make sure Oscar stays on the opposite side of me that Shnookie's on. Here he is with his new sleek slim shiny self:
That just leaves Kibby...not much new with him. He continues to coexist with the kittens, not particularly caring if they're there or not. Same sweet boy he always is.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
