I can go with NDW, but it's only been a week since he saw blue. Normally though, he adjusts to everything within 2 cycles with Lev. If he bounces, it'll be the following cycle after a low and then off the bounce by the next cycle. Not like the Lantus Lucian. I've looked and looked at his SS from 7/23 until now, over and over, trying to find something. All I can see is an occasional higher number, 300+ out of the blue for no apparent reason. Then about 3 weeks ago, he started acting erratic. The worst has been since 11/26. Some of the oddities I can accept to maybe being a sputtering pancreas that wasn't sputtering? But since 11/26 has me worried.
@BJM Good to see you! I don't spend the time I used to on the forum, missed you! Lucian just went through a round of antibiotics, just in case there was an underlying infection without any signs, so I doubt that could be it. He's drinking fine, more than usual since he's been running high again. I did check him for ketones a couple days ago, it was Neg. Have no clue about the food. I buy at Walmart and they go thru millions of cans, so I'm sure there have been many batch changes. Stress? He's 15. Cat eats, sleeps and sh*ts, how stressful can that be? :lol: Activity, see previous answer. :lol: Now, weather, we have already figured out that being chilly causes his arthritis to hurt, causing his BG's to go up. He now sleeps in a warm bed, sometimes, always on my bed and I am using the heat for the 1st time in 3 years, just to keep him comfortable. Makes me uncomfortable. Plus I put a baby blanket over his back half as often as possible to keep his hips/back/legs warm. His bed is on my bed and wherever he is, I put his blanket on him. I also started the Cosequin about 5 days ago. Astrology? You got me on that one! :lol:
@Robin, much love girl and thank you for the concern, but you have much more to worry about, I'm more concerned about you and your babies, I'll figure out Lucian, even if it does take a trip to the vet.
