Woo HOO! it is Thursday. I hope everyone had a good one yesterday. Ours was alot of fun! it was a pool day for Nicholas. The other grandparents watched William while Nicholas and I swam.Thank you Pat! We continue to be very cold here (well cold for us) 25 when dawn came around, and it ever rally got much higher than 34. We ah sunny skies tough, which was awfully nice. AND (!) Nicholas finally wore his coat. Seems he realized that is really was cold out there. William never complains, even when he had on more clothes than I could count. At least he was warm! :-D Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. it is been a very busy, but fun one here. One of those where we plan the first activity and then Nicholas comes up with the rest. We never made it back home after we left at 9AM. Good thing that the car is packed for being gone all day. AND (@!) Happy days! He wore his coat today - no arguments. A RELIEF, as it was 30 out there, frozen and just plain cold. "Wow", he says " it is cold out here". well duh.  Wow, and what a day... Swimming was great. The ENERGIZER FISH did really well, even with his "cold", which really is just a cough now and then. He had a great time. We were the only ones there until 10:30 or so. NICE!! Big pool still had lessons going on when we made it over there. He is so funny. LOVED the lessons. Keeps telling me :"I can do that!" lol: he probably could. So he decides he wants to join class, so heads over to stand next the kids. That was a hoot. He did exactly what thy did, just not as well. no matter, he tried, he did. He had to jump in, swim underwater through a hoop. It was prefect, he had to some up for air, but down he went through that hoop. GO NICK! It was a really good day there for him. This was funny: in the middle of lunch he turns to me and says" Ok Grammie, after lunch we go to the Science center. OK? and then I want to go to Juanita beach, OK? PLEASEEEEE?"   . It's so nice to have a social director. I didn't have to plan a thing. so off to the Pacific Science Center we went. Each time we go, the interaction increases. He has a few favorites, and the outdoor stuff rules. As cold as it was we still went and did that. It is really interesting that he can make those water canons hit their mark. Kinda cool. well anyways - so went the day. fun, alot of out and about, and home late."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Elsa has camped out on her spot on the sofa, Bug is in Mannie's bed, and Lola is on my lap. Supreme bliss rules here this morning. I so wish it would stay that way.... ;-) It was a gorgeous weather day here yesterday, and the kitties spent what time I did see them, alternating between those sunbeams and their fleece beds. No one asked to go out though, not even Elsa! No dummies there - they all knew the ground was frozen solid. Fleece beds and comforters won out today. Lola was busy while I was gone yesterday.... Seems that Christmas bags with Christmas presents in them were too much to resist.... Thanks goodness that she only chewed on, and ripped at, the bags!   The bean gets the dummie award for even leaving that stuff out. What was I thinking???? Obviously I wasn't   Last nght the shower door pounding continued. I was in the shower doing my thing, and I could see her pounding away. So I let some soap suds run down the door.         She was mesmerized and couldn't figure out how to get that drip. She tried so hard, from every angle imaginable. Until it reached the bottom of the door and disappeared. it was then back to the pounding.    YUPP, one can safely say Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river today, Nicholas asked for one yesterday. That adn the Aquarium. The weather is really nice, very sunny, no rains, and not one cloud. it is however, rather cold out there. 24 this AM, and not expected to be much above 30 on the rivers. The one we will go to is especially pretty this time of year. So if we bundle warm enough and I can convince Nicholas that coats are really good, we shall spend some time there today. we shall see on this one. There is a large part of me says stay in until it warms, then go local. Especially if he still has that cold. I will try and get to condos when I can. I am sorry I missed so many of you yesterday. it is so tough to find any time on days when I have the boys... I do hoe all is well with all of you.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

 On Lola and the shower door and soap suds. I can just see her trying to get to the soap suds.

It sounds like you and the boys had a great day yesterday. I hope Nicholas' cold is better today and you can go to a river.

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) YUPP on the soap suds. I laughed so hard - she was just going nuts trying to get those suds.   THX on yesterday and today. I hope he is better too. I'm not too sure on the river, as it just isn't warming up out there. it's OK though, we will have fun no matter where we go. Good times!

Fun on the pool! Nicholas is a hoot. He is getting so big and wants to do what all the big kids do. I remember those days.

A nice quiet morning. Ahhhhh. Enjoy it. We all know Lola doesn't let the dust settle. Hope it warms up for you and you all have a great day!

To funny about the soap suds
Smart kitties not wanting to out in the cold...BURRRRR!
I just keep thinking how cold it is and you still keep going swimming
The two just don't seem to go together
But there is no slowing the Energizer Fish down
Enjoy your day Michelle and I hope Nicholas's cough gets better

Hi Melissa :-D He is fun on the pool. so so wants to be like the big kids. Soon.... lessons we hope stating the new year. I SO KNOW on that quiet morning... came home to another bag destroyed...

Hi Pam :-D The soap suds was a hoot!   Silly girl! I know on the pool.... we just keep on trucking, weather never an issue, unless we just can't get there due to bad roads. which just doesn't happen much here. THX on today - it was fun! and the cough is slowly improving. Sure doesn't seem to slow him down any.

Hi everyone! Hope your day has been a good one. We did well here. Our cold temps continue - we are 31, expected low tonight 22, 16 tomorrow. Wow - we do be cold! It does look like the predicted snows tonight will not happen. :-D :-D :-D There is a huge part of me that is relieved. Instead we just get really cold stuff. 31 predicted high tomorrow. We played it safe today and stayed indoors, for the most part: off once again to the aquarium. Little guy was on warp speed - running here there and everywhere. Knew exactly what he wanted to see, and so it was. once done, back to the the stuff we missed on that whirlwind tour. lol. It was fun, for all of us. Seems different every time we go. Today's main focus was whales. They have this one interactive ting that plays whale calls. He couldn't get enough of that one. I read the stuff for him while he listened to the calls, learned the whales. Fun stuff! It was one of those days for me: lost WIlliam's coat, then Nicholas's, and then William's hat. SHESSHHHH! Three trips to the lost and found. I so need a better way of carrying all their stuff. Or just bite the bullet and get a stroller. Gawd I hate strollers.   anyways --- we found it all. It was great, Nicholas played tour guide, and William couldn't get enough of the brightly colored tropicals. I had thought of taking them to the park at Juanita in the afternoon, it was mid 30's by then, but both boys zoned out on the drive home, so put them to bed instead, got a few things done at home while they napped. Probably too cold out there anyways. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo. Have a great evening everyone!

Oh Michelle,
I don't know how you take two kids and all their accessories our for the day without a stroller! You are good :-D

Elsa says thank you mom, for the play bags and the goodies inside
Have a good night!

THX Jane! and HAHA on the stroller.... I have never been a fan, which is weird I know. William is front packed, and Nicholas is on his own, and the rest is all back packed. A rather comical sight!
Too fun huh on the bags and the goodies...

LOL on the suds with Lola....poor little girl! Next time, try running the suds down her side of the door to see what she thinks of them when they're up close and personal! She has such a zest for life!!

Have a great night, Michelle!

Morning Amy ~O) The suds was funny. I will have to try that on the her side of the door. I wonder what she would do. probably play with it. and yes, she does. One o the things I love about her: such a zest for life.

Hi Deborah ~O) THX! Nicholas is just that - tour guide, activities director, social planer. It is all such fun, and I never have to worry about hat to do. He knows! :-D funny, but yes, there is always a story to tell.
