Her bounce broke! Hallelujah The vet called yesterday and wants me to bring her in to collect urine for a culture. They think she might have a UTI. I dont personally see the connection, but who knows. She just had blood and urine done 2 weeks ago. Thats when all this craziness started. They didnt mention anything abnormal about the urinalysis, but looking at it now, its got two things on it. Epithelial cells : 1+ (1-2) HPF, and Casts : OCC Fine Granular (0-1) LPF (whatever any of this means.) Anyway, hopefully things will get better. Have a great day!! @Wendy&Neko

Hi Jo! Jude suffers with a lot of UTI issues. Epithelial cells are often present with infection, but they can also be present with feline idiopathic cystitis. You might be planning on this already, but if you can afford it, please consider a culture and sensitivity, even if the in-house analysis looks clear. You want to be sure you are 1) dealing with infection (if it's FIC, an antibiotic is not use to treat the issue) and 2) using the correct antibiotic to target the infection. Good luck! So glad her numbers have come down!!
