Happy Friday!!! Sending many many healing vines to Tricia's kitters. Also special thoughts for her in the stress of dealing with UCD. Also vines to all who need them.

Yuppers it's Lupita Friday and woe to LBG. When Lupita came in, Gracie was on a chair under the nook table; she was in her fav meat-loaf position just snoozing. Lupita started talking to her and she barely opened her eyes a slit if I ignore her, maybe she will go away?. But I had to pick her up anyway to test her. As I was holding her and telling Lupita what a little chupacabra she was (inside joke with Lupita), Lupita was calling her a Principessa and then reached over and started petting her ears and saying how good they looked. At first, Gracie's eyes got even bigger, rounder, wider than usual. Then she kind of made them into a slit and I'm sure she said AAACKKK!!! She TOUCHED my ears!!!! I knew what was coming next so I told Lupita "wait for it" and a few seconds later, we were rewarded with a sweet Principessa hisssssssssssss which was more a crinkling of her nose and opening of her mouth with no real sound :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have to share this as I have been laughing and laughing about it because it is so spot on. Anne/Zener sent me this via FB and said
I thought of what Gracie sees when she looks at Lupita!

Another PJ Party last night. I'm glad Mike was home because we went to dinner and I decided to have one itsy witsy tiny weenie margarita and when we got home, I lasted on the board about 30 mins and I was in sleep city :lol: :lol: Lightweight. We tested a little more yesterday during the day because we thought we might sneak in a movie but she kept coming down....slowly. We finally gave up and settled on dinner out :-D :-D

I'm working today from home. Ugh. I hope you all have a great day. I shall refrain from partaking of any adult beverage tonight and see you round here then!

Great one, Anne! At least the Principessa is true to form!

I know about being a light weight now. One glass of wine and I won't make it through the evening tests. I just sorted through the wine from our wine club, it's been accumulating. I need to build a wine cellar or have a BIG party. Everyone welcome! drinking24

I'm glad you all enjoy Gracie's ongoing adventures with Lupita. Later this afternoon, Gracie had camped out on our bed in the sun. Lupita came in to dust our bedroom furniture and simply walked by the bed which is five feet away from the dresser where Lupita was headed. Gracie let go with three HSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Can't you see I'm napping here, Pita???

That's my girl....always a 'tude when it comes to "Pita".

So glad you liked the pic! Next time Lupita touches the queen's ears, she will be on the receiving end of Gracie's light saber!

Which makes me a very cheap date....and lots of fun .....for about 15 minutes before i fall asleep :lol: :lol:
 
Gee, Marje and Ann, I was going to offer to have you both over for some wine, but I see that it would be a pretty boring party! You gotta build up your tolerance, then come visit me. We have over 500 bottles of wine here. Like, Ann, I need a cellar, and like Ann, I live in CA where you can't build them as the ground isn't stable (and in our case, we're at sea level, so you know what would happen!).

Love, love, love Lupita Fridays. I think Gracie does, too - it gives her life a little extra spice and lets her practise her mean look - she has to do that, as it does not come naturally to her sweet face. ;-)

Looks like Gracie didn't plan a PJ party for tonight, Marje, so I hope you and Mike are getting some well earned rest! Thanks for keeping my herd in your thoughts. We do appreciate it.
