Yesterday's thread!

Thanks to everyone who chimed in on my little vent. It really did make me feel a lot better!

It did end up snowing last night. And guess what? Outside is still bad and scary! (He went back inside by himself about ten seconds after this.)

Poor chilly Esse, he looks so grumpy hiding under that deck chair. 😂 Makes me wish I had a safe outdoor space to try that on Gen. He's been fully indoors for 10 of his approximately 11 years, and I'm not sure he remembers being a stray enough to appreciate it. Does Esse cry to be let out?

Glad you're feeling better. 💙 I hope it's a good day, and a nice safe and easy one for Esse!

We think he was about 9 or 10 when we made him full-time indoor. The first couple weeks were HELL, he cried and cried and cried, especially at night. But it got better! Now he pretty much never does. And the few times he has gotten out accidentally (like if the door isn't fully shut or something) he stops in the driveway. He likes rolling around on the warm concrete, lol.

Lauren/Sam, I missed yesterday’s “rant,” which really isn’t a rant at all, but a heartfelt cry, echoed from all of us, for healing for our babies…but I digress. I have a theory, but it’s definitely not proven, though I’ve adopted it by looking at some spreadsheets (Trixie and Nestle come to mind). I think we should not worry about dose size, but should, instead focus on finding a dose that marinates them in the greens, and we should keep them there as long as possible, to include carb manipulating to avoid dose decreases, when possible. I think that when this happens, when we hold them in the greens for a good while, we have a greater opportunity for remission. I might be wrong, but that’s my theory. Don’t worry about dose increases. Do what you must to get him into and keep him in the lagoon for a good, long while, and maybe, then he will start dropping into the lagoon…and into remission.
