Should I stay at .5 or go back to .75?
Thank you for replying. I'm thinking .5 units is not a big enough dose because she's been in yellows all day, but it would even out if I gave her .5 at 8:00 pm tonight. I would check a couple hours later and afterwards. Why can't you change the time of injection 1/2 hour earlier for each 1/2-cycle. For example, tonight- 8pm .5You might want someone more experienced to confirm this, but I believe you would shoot at 8:30 PM. If you want to go back to your 7 AM shot time, you could back up the shot time in 15 minute increments like this:
Tonight: 8:30 PM
Tomorrow AM: 8:15 AM
Tomorrow PM: 8:15 PM
Monday AM: 8:00 AM
Monday PM: 8:00 PM
Tuesday AM: 7:45 AM
Tuesday PM: 7:45 PM
etc etc etc
I can't speak for the dose you should give her because I'm not experienced enough. All I know is that Lantus works best when given in 12 hour increments. When you shoot earlier than that, it acts like a slight dose increase and when you shoot later it acts like a dose decrease. So I've always tried to keep it to +/- 15 minutes to be as consistent as possible, but maybe I'm too cautious!Thank you for replying. then go back to her regular cycle at .5 for a couple of days to see if she evens out?

You're probably right, but I'm thinking that she's been in yellows all day today and yesterday on .5, so if I overlap a bit maybe it will get her back in the blues.I can't speak for the dose you should give her because I'm not experienced enough. You should follow @Red & Rover (GA)'s guidance. Chloe's probably bouncing from that beautiful day of greens you had on 12/3. It's time for a little patience here. It will happen again, but pushing the dose before she's ready might backfire. You're probably right, but I'm thinking that she's been in yellows all day today and yesterday on .5, so if I overlap a bit maybe it will get her back in the blues.
