Good Morning, Everyone,

Another dark, dreary, drizzly day, and today it is supposed to be unseasonable, with highs in the 50s!!!

Rusty had a good night. He played for a while with a box in my study before coming to bed. He ate all of his nighttime food (which was liberally "larded" with FF T&G), and this morning we had a good test (nice, normal Rusty number!!), breakfast of Wellness Turkey and Chicken, and a good shot in his favorite "shot spot": a broken-down Gevalia coffee box. Most of yesterday was spent in the Green Lagoon, and I hope that the Lagoonmeister will head back there today. I would like to see him steady in his normal numbers before our Xmas visit to my sister and family.

Today we plan to get flu shots. I don't usually get one, but they say that this year's flu is especially virulent. Other than that, more odds and ends.

Morning Ella, nice blue AMPS for Rusty, especially with the "larded" FF T&G! :lol: Sometimes that causes a spike in Mags. It looks like the Lagoonmeister will make it to the Lagoon today. How nice with the trip coming up to visit your sister and family. Have a nice day.

Good morning Ella. It's nice to see that Rusty is off to a nice start with a blue number this morning.

Our cats like to play with boxes also. Our cats also like to play with paper. My wife buys a package of the large sheets of brown wrapping paper. She rolls it into a big ball about the size of a basketball and sprinkles some catnip on it. It's funny to watch them play with it to jump on top of it and make little tunnels and crawl inside and then run around with the paper tunel on their back, it's comical.

Nice start to the day and Rusty seems poised to head right back to the Lagoon. We're gloomy today too, but no more rain for a few days. The big storms hit up north, we got the tail end and about 2" of rain, which is great for us. Rain usually peters out by the tim the systems get down to us and we only get a trace if anything.

Rusty has had a good day. He played a lot with his cardboard tube and bell balls. Went outside briefly, but didn't like to get his feet wet. The day was like Indian Summer. We got lots of outdoor chores taken care of, and it was nice to be able to do them without gloves. I put back as best as I could the clumps of grass and sod that our snow plower had ripped up. We are not going to let him do the driveway again until after the ground freezes.

Off to visit some condos now,

Hope you had a nice nurse for the shots. My last one really left a bruise on me..

What a beautiful day for Rusty. :mrgreen:

For us in NY too. I got to play outside with bird feeders. My neighbor walked over and was amazed at all the chickadees and juncos and woodpeckers I had here.
I reminded her that she still hadn't put out her black oil seed and that's what they like. So she did, and it took no time at all, for the birds to find it. Yay, now she can feed the little piggies too :lol:

Hello Ella and Rusty!

It's so nice to pop in and see Rusty in the lagoon! Wohooo! We had incredible weather here as well today. We're soaking it up before it all freezes over!

Oh what a happy green day for Rusty!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Glad you got to play in the dirt awhile but grrr on the snow plow. Good idea on the flu shot! We all get one every year. Thank you for the link. I will definitely check it out. I am going to go get my gait analyzed next to see if it is how I am landing. Have a great night!!
