Yesterday, green start, jump up, then the long slide. @Michelle - thanks for the early AM visit early, she did do a decent recovery. :-D

Looks like Neko's going to have a decent cycle today. Vetty appointment at +8 for her every 6 month wellness checkup and b/w. Might not be the best time to have scheduled that. nailbite_smile

This morning I saw a great example of the immediate benefits of acupuncture for Neko. She seldom jumps up on things anymore. Well, maybe the pepper plant pot to go potty. :roll: But it's lower than the chairs around here. This morning I decided to put Theo's breakfast up on the old wooden table we have. It's turkey day - he's not really fond of turkey and eats it very slowly. Neko hoovers then does the circling shark routine, trying to get around me to get at Theo and push him away from his dish. So the last few days, I've been serving him on the table so he can eat a leisurely meal until he thinks he's done and I don't have to worry about it while I'm fine tuning the syringe. This morning I heard some commotion near the table, and Neko had hopped up on the chair and had her front paws on the table, chowing down from Theo's dish. Go Neko! :lol: :lol:

Back from vetty. Neko gave me green before I left, but not too green. It was a fairly quick visit, more of an update than any specific concerns. Vet thought things looked good, although she had a hard time checking all the organs due to her little pot belly. As vetty said, she wasn't judging, just commenting. :lol: Pots are common with acros, and it's a little more pronounced than last time, in spite of her weighing a few ounces less than her last wellness check. They'll email me the b/w results tomorrow. My vet won't be in, but I can talk to one of the others if I have concerns.

First thing Neko did when we got home was complain to Mr. AC Tires, Then of course the licking to get rid of vetty smell. She's now curled up on my laptop bag beside me - we've had some forgiveness purrs.

@Ruth, Carla - Quick in and out, my favorite type of vet visit. Of course there was a dog barking in the background when she was checking heart rate and respiration. :roll:

Quite a day for Miss Neko! It's great that she is so food-motivated. She needs to give Rusty lessons! Very nice, too, that the acupuncture is working well.

I'm glad the vetty visit went well! I love forgiveness purrs. And yay Neko for jumping up to swipe some food :lol: It's great that she feels good enough to get into mischief!

You go, Neko. What a good day. Swiping food from the table! Wonderful numbers. Good vetty visit. A little commiseration from Mr. AC Tires. And make-up purrs with dabean. Yup, a good day little one.

I'm always so relieved when I get back from a vet visit and the next days don't lead to problems. I hate waiting for BW results. It's good that you will get them even though your vet won't be in tomorrow. I hope they are really good.
