Please take a peek at Juba's SS to see what she's been up to the past few days!
Well it looks like the decrease back to 1.25 units wasn't what Juba was wanting, so I tried 1.35 to see if maybe just a "fat" 1.25 would maybe be the secret ingredient?? Nope, not a winner sadly
I unfortunately wasn't able to test Juba last night, which may have indicated maybe she did go lower last night, but I don't know.
This morning I increased her back to 1.5 units to see hopefully get her back to at last some good blues.
I'm just feeling frustrated that after 2.5 years I still can't get Juba regulated, and switching insulins!
If Juba never gets regulated, at least I know I tried pretty hard at testing and feeding her...
Advice? Thoughts?
Am I not giving this a better shot? Should I try harder?
Unfortunately my life can't completely be dedicated to Jubalee and her civvie brother.
I started working part time, and have to keep myself busy with other hobbies. I absolutely love these two kitties so incredibly much, and I don't have human kids, and treat these two like human babies, but there's times where I feel trapped or chained to my home with testing and feeding in a times pattern.
I'm not giving up, nor will my schedule with Jubalee change, I would just really really like to see Juba become better regulated with the amount of time and work my husband and I are putting into this lifestyle. This is hard and we both feel self doubt with just not getting decent numbers with Juba.
