Yesterday

I am very confused about what is happening. He is still shooting up at night. He is eating the same food as in the morning. The only additives to his food that are different is Cosequin for his arthritis and fish oil. Could he still be bouncing?

Spreadsheet has been updated through about an hour ago.

And hubby just informed me that the sensor crashed down to 53. He might have been laying on it. Had him get up and it stabilized at 77.

Feel like this is going to cause him to bounce high again.

And now 146....he was definitely laying on his sensor wrong. Ughhhhhhh

This is so wacky. I've had my issues with the Libre, but the way your kitty's dives so dramatically when he lays on it ... I know it's something that can happen, but I haven't seen anyone else here mention it happening at all yet, much less multiple times a day. (Granted, I've been here less than two weeks, but still.) I wonder ... @Staci & Ivy , do you think something might be up with this sensor?

This sensor is getting replaced tomorrow. So I'm not hugely worried about it. We know about the pressure thing because my husband is also diabetic and the alarm goes off when he sleeps on the sensor.

It’s hard to say if it was from pressure or a drop.
I don’t tend to see many drops from pressure.
I try to keep the sensor in a spot on her back that she won’t sleep on it.

I’m glad Jessica isn’t too worried.

The fact it went from 53 to 146 in less than 10 minutes? Makes me think pressure and it keeps happening. I'm more worried about his high nighttime values. :-(

That’s a big swing! Wow. Where is it on Indy? I’m not too experienced with the Libre, but is it anywhere that gets more pressure?

It is behind one of his shoulders on the side. And it gets pressure when he "croissants" or lays in one of those yoga poses.

A good and common spot to have it, difficult to avoid. Let's see how to new sensor does!
