Happy Fursday! Sending out tons of healing prayers for Minka, Harvey, Sasha, and Cinco; Clyde, Tiger, Amy's Dad and any others in need.
It's been raining since 2 a.m. (and we are very thankful for the rain you sent, Tricia ;-) ) and LBG has been curled up in our bed most of that time. She did get down for breffis and she and Tobey had about a 15 min session of running out onto the catio, fluffing up all their fur, and running back into the house and then making another mad dash out there. They finally decided it was just too chilly and wet so they are now both sleeping. I went b2b with coffee and a book until +2. Nothing like relaxation with two fur babies! Gracie continues to do well with the slow conversion to raw food.
PJ Party last night but it wasn't too bad. It helps when she is snuggled in next to me; it's a quick test. We are on cycle four of the reduction so just holding our breath for a couple more cycles to be sure her depot from the higher dose is done. And then it's time for a little patience, I suppose ;-)
Mike said he saw our neighbor at the mail boxes last night (there are three of us families that live on a private road and the mail truck doesn't come down here so our individual mail boxes are all up on a cul de sac at the top of the road) and she said she had just seen a bobcat just a little up the street that looked like Joey. We still haven't seen Joey since everything happened with the bobcat we are calling "Lily" and we are hoping Lily and Joey aren't one and the same bobcat. Joey sometimes visits our neighbor's yard as well and she thought the bobcat she saw last night might be Joey. We were hoping she'd be in the yard this morning but with all the rain, she is probably hunkered down somewhere.
I've got errands to run and also starting to work on my retirement papers that have to be submitted this month. I have 7.5 months left until retirement!!! Have a great day!
