At +3 Gideon's BG=77. I just gave him some 5% carb food.
For those who follow Gideon, you probably know by now, my work schedule is always a concern, but I do have two amazing members of my household that are helping manage Gideon. Our son tests him at +5 after PMPS, and my husband will test at +7 after PMPS. This is in addition to the tests I am able to get before I leave for work. Gideon only receives 0.5 units of Lantus BID now, but it could still cause him to go low, since insulin is a very powerful hormone.

Unbelievable! At +3, my Gideon is only 59. Husband feeding him 24% (1 TBSP), and will test in 30 mins. He will leave out 15% tonight. Hoping he tests again at +4, and son at +5, then husband at +7.

What do I give for the morning dose of insulin?
 
I would take him down to .25 in the morning. Of course he drops because you are at work. Up Gideon please.
