Thanks for all the visits and support in my last condo. Most days I feel ok with this crazy dance, but somedays it just makes me crazy and hopeless...luckily I have this forum and your support to help me through the good and bad days.

This is the 7th cycle on the 1 unit dose and Ebby is nice and flat. She is also feeling noticeably better; very very playful, and even hopped on top of the fridge the other night. Even though the numbers are a little higher than I'd like, they are flat and mostly yellow and blue, and most importantly Ebby seems to like this dose...so I might hold for a couple more cycles before increasing again. It's too bad the reductions didn't stick, but at least it proved to me that she needs more insulin and not less, and I can quit worrying that I was giving her too much. I hope everyone is doing well...I'm headed off to work soon. Have a great day!

Hey!!! Very cool how she keep the same numbers but just mixes them around a bit  Sounds like she is liking this dose. And yeah, the numbers are a bit higher than you would like, but it's hard to not feel happy when they are feeling so good :-D

I love your lyrics. Somehow tho I got the "plop, plop.fizz.fizz oh what a relief it is' music in my head! :? Now I apparently need a jingle to go with the lyrics

Have a great night Melissa

Very nice Ebby report - it's so awesome when they are feeling good again! Flat is good, too...just slowly nudge that down a bit, OK, Ebby? I hope you're having a great night, Melissa!!

Hi Melissa

I know this dance can get really tiresome and demoralizing. But what goes up must come down and they usually do. I've learned to not get attached to a dose and I think you are smart in realizing they if she needs more insulin, then you just have to give it.

If her numbers stay like this and she doesn't get into green, I'd only leave this dose the same for ten cycles. Then I'd increase by 0.25u if no green.

i missed your condo yesterday, but i think everyone can relate to this being hard sometimes.

so glad to hear miss flat ebby was feeling better today. on top of the fridge?!? fantastic!
