Yesterday's condo

Well after a gorgeous green surf yesterday, the bounce has arrived!!! Not a bad bounce though (so far anyway)

I'm going to give China's ears a break this afternoon though, and we'll see where she's at at PMPS.

Tomorrow morning I have to take Mom to get her staples out..she's got over 100 of them from the top of her chest going all the way down her leg (where they got the graphs to use for the bypass) so it's going to be a rough day for her.

Hopefully China will be a very good kitty while we're gone!!

As bounces go, this one is not too bad so far flip_cat ~ hope it clears quickly. And it is always nice for beans and kitty to have a little pokey break

Prayers for your mom's staple removal to not be too uncomfortable, Chris. Maybe they will give her something to take the edge off? I hope so.

Hi Chris, sending prayers for your mom for the removal of the staples. She has a lot.
China usually clears the bounce quickly. I hope she surfs safely for you tomorrow. will you be gone most of the day?

Thanks for the visits Jane, Carla and Catherine!!

Jane..at her care plan meeting on Tuesday, they recommended she take a pain pill before going so I'm going to remind her to do that in the morning. With that many, there's no way that's not going to hurt, but she's looking forward to getting them out. She'll get to take a shower for the first time since the surgery on November 9th!

Thanks Carla...we'll take all the prayers we can get!

Catherine, not sure yet how long we'll be gone. First, they're talking about possible ice in the morning..just what I need! I'm not worried so much about me driving, but all those other crazy drivers who seem to forget how to drive on slick surfaces are the problems! And then of course there's the waiting at the doctors office. Some times you get in fairly quickly and some times it seems like an all day thing. Best I can do is get a +2 in the morning and if it's a big drop from her AMPS, I'll give her a little gravy right then and leave out plenty of food so she'll have it if she needs it (and try to keep the civvies out of it)

Well shoot...was hoping China would have better numbers by this cycle since she had been clearing bounces in one cycle lately. :YMSIGH:

And the temperature outside is dropping fast, which doesn't bode well for our trip to the surgeon tomorrow. I'm going to have to really dig through my closets and see if I can find a winter coat for mom...considering she went into the hospital in August (originally), we never thought to grab a winter coat from her house ohmygod_smile

Hope everyone's safe and warm tonight, and tomorrow all the kitties are green!
