Good morning, everyone...and happy saturday!

still cold and snowy here, but the bean is up and around...and binks is starting off in the yellow.

funny how quickly we get used to the lower numbers...plunge into frustration when they hang up on the higher floors...then get a thrill when they start out yellow...

reminds me of the discussion in Sugarpat's condo about the inverse ratio between shadow's numbers and pat's mood...and one member said (won't drop names)..."Yep, i'm always high when my cat's numbers are low!" :lol: :lol:

i'm not going to make the mistake of overdoing it today...but it's sure nice to be up off the couch.

let the girls out for an hour or so yesterday, and will continue to work on the family-building here...much as i malign them...i do actually care for them both (even find Smudge's snoring kind of cute)...so there's no giving up..

How can you not like kitties with tortitude? Glad you're feeling better and that Binks is off the pink floor. How about discussing the need for blue with Binks? Think he'll listen?

Ever so glad that you are feeling better, and off of the couch. :-D Love the now - ours is all gone.... :sad: one of the disadvantages of living so close to the water - it just doesn't stick around for long. now watch - now that I've said that it will dump on us, stay for 4 weeks like it did 2 years ago, and turn normal rational people into raving lunatics....

Too fun - that is what Mannie got too... he loves that one - down the hatch in 5 seconds flat. sheshhhhh.... it did slow his drop though.... better that than another dive....

well, well...looks like Mr. Carb-Sensitive is back...they do have to teach us a lesson when we think we have an idea of their habits and patterns, don't they?

and my thought on all of the "keeping us busy" comments in all the condos today is this...

Cabanabean and me talk about this all the time...our day is predicated by Gracie's numbers!! Of course..it's only the pink/red that drive us crazy...if we could keep her with mid to low yellow amps with blue and green and see SOME kind of movement towards regulation, we'd be thrilled!! We're really trying not to chase green numbers...tough, eh?

i'm sure it means that the insulin has just lost its efficacy, but does it manifest in a shorter cycle, or just stop working from start to finish?

question generated by the weird cycles binks has been having...

had so much trouble drawing from the new pen that last night i went back to the 16 day old one i had abandoned in my oh-so-mature frustration this week...

i have to laugh at the skate key thing - you were so toast if you lost your skate key....

excellent on the "all of them" yum!

i never got to skate...i was "that kid" no physical fun..i basically spent every minute out of school in the hospital
(not the loony bin...that came later) :lol:

but i'd venture to say i listened to more music and read more books than any kid on the planet!

Yeah and they call those numbers Mellow Yellow Binks you don't want your SS to look like Powder's trust me. I guess we all know what generation we're from orrr whose parents played the oldies but goodies channel :lol: Turn this around Binks Yo Mama bean deserves it.
