Sending vines to @Tracey&Jones @Phoebes
Sending lots of hugs to @LizzieInTexas

Woke up this am DH was crying saying he was dying, I said what’s wrong and he said I have blood in my pee, I hugged and said you have UTI, he said all the symptoms he’d been having and I said why didn’t you tell me he said he didn’t want to worry me cause I have enough on my plate, I gave him some d-mannose told him to have lots of water and cranberry juice, gave him azythromyicin(spelling?) come to find out it doesn’t work for UTI not usually prescribed it says on Internet so I guess off to the dr this afternoon

Sammie-would not eat this am, tried several different kinds, hope he will when I leave as he is scared of me

Sounds like when it rains, it pours. Sorry to hear about DH UTI...that's a bummer...I have those things and now I take D-Mannose daily - and when it flares up I take it three times a day. Cranberry juice is not very helpful - because it's so watered down - I take the Cranberry supplements 500 mg. you can get them anywhere - Sam's Club has the biggest supply for the least $ - Costco carries it but the dosage isn't as strong! Amazon has Members Mark (the Sam's Club brand)...so sometimes I buy it from there...and I increase that to two capsules (so I'm getting 1000 mg) when I have a flare up...seems like once you get them you're always susceptible. Water hels too but doesn't work very fast. There's also over the counter AZO (Pyridium) tablets that help with the pain - immediate relief but do nothing for the infection. Send him to get some AZO while he waits to see the doctor.

Well DH going to dr tbis afternoon his mom is going with him, theres a history of cancer down in that area on both sides of the family Male and female
Please send prayers, I've been shaking all over can hardly work

I feel bad for you! Why does everything happen all at once! So stressful!! (at least Bella is doing good!)

When my son had a UTI I told him to drink a TON of water (we drink distilled water,no Chlorine or fluoride) and Unsweetened Cranberry Juice. Drinking unsweetened cranberry juice is one of the most well-known natural remedies for urinary tract infections.
Cranberries work by preventing bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract, thus preventing infection. He was better in 2 days!

Healing Energy & Positive thoughts to ALL of you :bighug:

Getting some on my way home. Tjanks!

It’s terrible for me to think “ yeah for kidney stones” but it’s better than the alternative C word :bighug: In my experience its best to get cranberry juice from Whole Foods/natural health food store . Stuff at grocery store is usually not pure enuf but you probably already know that . Prayers on top of prayers to you all :bighug:❤️

Hooboy, well. As someone who has a pretty chronic kidney stone issue, that is... well, it's not great, but it could be way worse. I've had stones since I was nineteen (passed exactly none of them, had surgeries to retrieve them and a lot of lithotripsy to break 'em up) and have tried every diet in the world. If that's the problem, they'll give him a diet sheet to follow. None of them are any fun, unfortunately, but every urologist I've seen keeps harping about drinking waaaaaaaaaay more fluids than I do (water or lemonade, no tea or coffee or soda, and there's very few fruit juices that pass muster). So... in the meantime while you wait to hear, have him drink lots of water! If nothing else, it'll keep the kidneys busy.

Feel better, DH! You have my sympathies for that pain.

I went to Earth Fare, all organic store
Thank you!

From one kidney stone sufferer to another, I sure hope DH gets home relief and gets better soon! You've a lot on your plate, Jamie - I sure hope your load lightens. I'll be sending loving, healing energies your way.

Thanks Joanne
Glad I have a board to check off what I have given who and times or I could never do it

I'm so sorry to hear about your DH issues today - along with your sick kitties - you don't need any more worries - but if it IS a kidney stone it will be dealt with - one way or another - I had one of those - and at the time I had kidney cancer - so I KNOW how frightening that can be.

Hang in there Jamie -we're all here to support you.

Sending big hugs and prayers - and healing vines to your DH and kitties too...and some 'deep breathes' for you. I'm sure you're stressed out .... hang in there please...

Somehow we all do manage to get thru these dark times - one way or another - I firmly believe every cloud has a silver lining.
