Here's yesterday's condo...

Today: AMPS 316 +3 266 +6 254 +8 241 +10 296 PMPS 264 +2 279 +4 264

All is well in Sootyland today, Ps are fine, meds are all on board, eating well. Another dosecrease this morning... hate that we're having to give Amoxi containing sucrose but that will change soon - probably Sunday...!

ETA: Picked up the new Rx midday and will switch to it right away - no more Sucrose from now on..! Wait and watch...

Yes, and yes! Since we found out that the the regular "human" Amoxi 'drops' all contain sucrose, we were able to get the vet to switch the 2nd half of his Rx to the local Compounding Pharmacy - and yes they can make it up with no sucrose (and make it Chicken flavor, too!)...

...as you know with ABs, you have to complete the whole course (and we have less than 20ml of the first lot left - about 4 doses) - so we'll probably be switching to the new stuff Sunday or Monday. Given Sooty's current Levemir "Acro-dose", we'll have to be ready for anything, then...

Hopefully that will help his numbers come down! You're almost to yellow Sooty so get busy and get off that pink floor!

That's great news!!!
My boxer Sean (GA) got liver flavored liquid estrogen for a basal membrane eye disease...i tried to get the una-mommer to try it, but no go... :lol:

bet Soots will be seeing better numbers quickly with the switch...

Picked up the new Rx midday and will switch to it right away - no more Sucrose from now on..!!

Next AB dose is due at PM shot time. last dose w/ sucrose was given at AM shot time this morning. We'll wait and watch what happens between now and then... in case we need to handle a drop...!

Update on the compounded (chicken flavor) Amoxi - he actually seems to LIKE it!!! (And we only have to give 1ml, vs 3.9ml of the sugary stuff...!) - MUCH BETTER!!
