Forgot to include: He scratched his ear even more than the othe day. I have been putting triple ointment neosporin. Does anyone have a remedy that is over the counter for rashes. It looks like he has tiny red bumps near his ears close to his eyes.

I don't know about the bumps, but I used the neosporin on a scrape that Kitty had in the same area. He kept scratching and opening it, and the Neosporin helped.
