Happy New Years Eve Day!!

Simon at least didn't want to end the year with a pink number so he is thinking very bright yellow. We are hoping that there are blue skies ahead today. Second day on the fattened dose but no action yet. I am hoping he doesn't decide to dive tonight because DH and I are going to be away from home after PM shot time until after midnight. We decided to start the New Year in a good way by giving back. Along with 2 other couple friends, we are serving dinner tonight at a homeless men's shelter. On the menu: Fried Chicken, Collard greens for finding money in the new year, black-eyed peas for good luck and cornbread and peach cobbler because they taste good! The guys at the shelter are so appreciative and we are looking forward to spending the evening with them. If Simon goes low before we leave, I may have to run back home at some point and re-check. I definitely will be leaving lots of food out in the automatic timer.

I hope Simon gets into numbers just low enough that you still have his permission for your mission! What a great way to end one year and start a new one!

Hi Georgia, what a great way to spend the New Year's Eve by giving back and serving to others at the homeless shelter, very inspiring. I love the menu and what each one symbolizes. I hope Simon comes down but just in the safe zone so you and DH won't need to worry.

Good luck too with Simon's new dose. I hope he settle into it soon. And not like Mannie who will think about it for what seems like forever! :lol: Think blue Simon - just not to low, OK?

How wonderful of you all to do that, Georgia and the menu sounds fantastic. I'm sure it was extremely rewarding. You are such a kind, generous, and sweet soul.

Awwwwww!!! Interesting that Simon is in the leather, more manly chair, and Cleo is in the fluffy blanky girlie chair!! They are so sweet!!! I hope you had a lovely evening giving back - such an inspiring way to spend New Year's Eve!
