my last post on 12/29/18 was an update about how we found a new vet after a bit of drama.

This morning as I type these lines, Radar is under the bed and I can hear him eating a little of the food I put under there. It's unusual for him to hide when someone is home, but he's not feeling very well so his urge to hide is understandable. I think his mouth is probably hurting him which is why he refused to eat on his own this morning at shot time. I'll give him a Gabapentin when I test him in a little while and that is sure to help.

I'm waiting on a call from the vet to see if she wants to start an antibiotic before we go in for his dental on Wednesday. With the holiday tomorrow it seemed like a good question to ask.

Happy New Year everyone!

We are enjoying our evening at home in our pjs. I hope the fireworks in our neighborhood tonight aren't too crazy loud and go on for hours and hours like last year. Radar is not a fan of all that booming.

The Gabapentin really helped Radar have a better afternoon although I made him gag when I shot the pill in. I hope he forgives my mistake and will still allow pilling to happen in the future. He's been really high today which I suppose could still be the bouncing from the blues from a few cycles ago. It could also be his sore mouth. Only one more day and two nights to go before his dental. I'm focused on keeping him comfortable and eating.

I get gab from Wedgwood in the gourmed form. It's a tab and it must be tasty. Olive, Tux, eat the tab whole right from the bowl or off floor. Trip will eat it if I crush it in food.

This is a great suggestion. I'll ask my vet about it. Thank you. I didn't know about this pharmacy.
