Yesterday Radar had his first taste of Kangaroo and liked it :cat::woot: I don't yet know if it agrees with his system or if he will continue to eat it. :smuggrin: but I'm glad to have something other than raw food that I can add maple syrup to if he goes too low today. I also have trial cans of many foods that I thought might work for him. I have yet to do the careful research to determine the carb counts.

I'm hoping for a nice surf today and I'm thinking :cool::D It is unclear at the moment what Radar has planned for our day.

After watching Radar closely for most of the day, I'm happy to report that he spent many hours in green and blue :D:cool: We are staying home for a quiet New Year's Eve so I should be able to continue testing to see what he decides to do next. I'm hoping he doesn't bounce and we can have another pretty cycle. :D:cool:

Radar is really reluctant to eat his dinner - I don't think he's had a poop today other than a little bit early in the day. It was formed but very small. Now I'm worried that he's constipated from the Kangaroo I gave him early in the day. Is there anything I can give him to help him feel better??

@Marje and Gracie

Is there anything I can do to help Radar with possible constipation. He's breadloafing a bit and hanging his head so I was thinking of giving him Gabapentin so he's more comfortable but that won't help him poop :(

How about 1/8 tsp raw egg yolk? That can help with constipation. You don’t want to go overboard because you don’t want to start diarrhea.

If this happens much, you might want to start him on egg yolk powder. Even tho neither of mine have any bowel issues, I always give them egg yolk powder daily.
