Please see SS for updated info for the last few days. i have been having PC issues so wasnt able to post yesterday.
Did a dosecrease to 1.75U night before last. so we will see if this will get #'s lower.
Is this what I should have done? Was suggested a few days ago by members here?
Please let me know thoughts.

I have not seen any signs of going out side the box, or any other issues. have him on Special diet Friskies wet pate. Which has lower PH and Mag.
Hope this will keep him UTI and crystal free with out he RX dry food he was on. CD from the Vet.

The increase looks like it was the thing to do.

In addition to the food change, I'd add as much water to Oliver's food as he'll tolerate. The water is good for kidney health.

Hi Kelly,

Not sure what your schedule is like, but is there any way you would be able to get at least one more test in the evenings? Looks like Oliver can do some pretty dramatic dives, then huge climbs quite quickly and I wonder if we are missing them? Even to get a test before bedtime...

Also, I have a kitty with urinary crystal issues. He was on dry CD then WD when he got way too fat. Dr. Pierson does a good article stating that just changing to pretty much any wet diet will help with UTI's and crystals more than any dry would. I had the civie in for his urinalysis a few weeks ago and the vet said he looked better than ever! (9 years of crystals!!!! Gone!)

Here's the link to Dr. Pierson and UTI's http://www.catinfo.org/?link=urinarytracthealth

Thanks guys My schedule is early to bed and early to rise, I own 2 businesses,
so 1,I work home the other I am gone for a few hours at a time. Very crazy,
but I do try to get a before bed but not always if the #'s are high.
I so appreciate your info. stories and shares.
Happy New year to all of you as well.

Hi Kelly,

I noticed when I started Cobb on the Friskies Special Diet he stopped going outside the box too. He had a urinary blockage 6-7 years ago and had to have surgery to have it removed. He was on dry c/d and w/d until this past April when we switched to Evo dry, and now the wet.

Hope the diet works for you!!
