For my BJ....
On a very sad note - we lost BJ last night. She crossed to the bridge around 10PM, on her on accord, at a time of her choosing, in her home. I will cry a thousand tears for her, and miss her terribly. She was my friend, my morning alarm clock, my whack-a-thon cheerleader, my snuggle bunny. Fly free little one, you will be forever missed, forever alive in out hearts.

Hey kitties!!! It's here - our New Years Eve party! Everyone is invited! We are at Rusty's barn. I will pick you up in the Kitty bus, and will have warm hats, mitts and scarves for everyone. Also, there will be hot toddys on the bus and when you get here. Rusty has invited the deer family to party with us. There will dancing and singing and eating. Rusty says we'll be able to watch the village fireworks at midnight. So come to ring in the new LL year. ~~ Mannie

Yesterday was a great day for Mannie - almost a repeat of the day before. We had a mini bonce in the morning, with the rest of the day spent as a nice slide down to the blues. This so reminds me of the Mannie I used to know who would clear the bounces in a day. I hope we are back to this pattern. Paws crossed! You did well Mannie. Good job, big guy! cat_pet_icon
All is well in MannieLand. Mannie has been on nanner guard duty for most of the day. It was really cute earlier when BJ tried to sleep on one of them. He let her have it - all day long. He'd never do that before - I found it very touching that he did yesterday. She had a good hug for a while.
what a kind final gesture on behalf of the Nanner King. We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from the Nanner King. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used (YES!!), and well yes, once again Elsa did raid his auto feeder... :roll: What else is new there. :shock: :roll: :roll: and for the first time ever I can not write: Normalcy in MannieLand. It just isn't... not today...
Have a great day everyone - do it for yourselves, and those furkids who mean everything to all of us. Today will I lay my girl to rest.

Hey everybody - I want to thank all you kitties who came and made my sister's last day as great as it was. She wanted us all to celebrate today, have some fun and good foods for her. She says she wasn't scared or nuthin', cuz she knows the bridge is a wonderful place. She promised me she'd look up Master Chef Stu as soon as she arrived. Cool huh! So for my sister, I will cook up a storm tonight. For you BJ! I will miss you!
And completely OT: Here are a couple of pics from DGS and my adventure yesterday. I was so grateful fro a break in the weather, and that we could make it to a river yesterday. He just loves the rivers. What a grand time!
