Wanted to test him, but he's under the bed, hiding from the dog. cat(2)_steam He doesn't like the dog.

Yeah, I'm very happy with his numbers and that it didn't take R to do it. Hope he keeps up this path.

Do you equate these lows to the three-day insulin fast? The reason I ask is that it looks like Linda was doing the same fast for Sammy(?)

Hopefully that 435 was because of hacking up a hairball a few minutes prior. We'll see come PMPS.

I did the insulin fast because the vet wanted to see if he was rebounding and could make it without insulin. Uh, No.

Mikey had an "insulin fast" back in August when he stopped eating for a few days and he ended up with a full 1u decrease afterwards (from 2.5 to 1.5). We're only up to 2u as of now. I even created a Think Tank post about it. Now I wonder if it wasn't the illness or the fluids but the insulin fast that caused the decrease.

I haven't a clue. But it's obvious that Lucian needs insulin. What type and what dose still remains to be seen.
 
No doubt in my mind, he got a furshot this morning. Doesn't surprise me, I barely remember giving it.

Of course, it'll take him days to get back to that point, never fails, as soon as he starts to look good, something screws up, usually me. :sad:
 
That seems to happen to me, too. We'll be on a really good streak and then I give a fur shot. ohmygod_smile :YMSIGH:
