(LOTS! I just love ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday! and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! Anybody wanna hang out in Mannie's treehouse today? Bring in the New Year? We are opens to anything, so let us know! PARTY!!! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too! OH!
I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. It ended up being a let the day evolve day. One of those where one thing led to another, until I finally decided, I need a road trip!
So that is what I did: rains or no rains, cold or no cold, fog or no fog... Here s what I wrote Lat night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine has been AWESOME! I got alot done in the morning. One of those days when I was in the mood to toss, so I did. Got rid of alot of stuff, things I don't really use, clutter, etc. I was sitting here about 10:30 thinking ok, now what? - Ii occurred to me that I just didn't care that it was cold wet and rainy on the outside and on the rivers, I was going anyways. It also gave me a chance to assess conditions and see if it is doable for the boys. SO.... off the the Skykomish River! Index area is really as bit cold and icy, might do for a short stop, The river at Gold Bar is in good shape, not too cold... anyways - had a good time on the Skykomish today. A cold and wet one, but still very nice. And.... (!!!) I found a new spot for the boys and I. I have driven by Trout Creek, which flows into the Skykomish several dozen times, never stopped. today I did. One gets through the trees and this is the view you see. Simply outstanding, breathtaking. Almost as good as Jack's Pass. Jack's to me feels more one on one, this spot feels vast, less personal, but ever so good. It is really an exceptional spot. There is a long pull out, camp ground on the other side of Trout Creek, which I will be taking the little guy too, once it warms just a tad, it was a little snowy, alot icy there today. Primo spot.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! The kitties were good kitties yesterday - even Lola. Fancy that! Well, normal Lola. The tree is still standing!, at least for a few more days. I am elated. She did make several trips up the middle yesterday afternoon, hopped around on a few branches before she once again flew, yes flew, on out from the middle, with one of her new "toys" in her clenched teeth. :shock: :lol: :lol: My poor ornaments. Once again I had to go on a retrieval mission yesterday - she has so many scattered around the base of the tree. :lol: :lol: I still sit and laugh every time she goes up that tree, as she just flies up that stalk, no slow climb, it is like catapult.... and yes, still, when the tree starts to sway I still hold my breath that it doesn't fall. The swaying is now more pronounced... hold on Christmas tree! only a few more days.... :roll: :lol: :lol: Bug is such a lovable cool kitty. He is always there to greet me when I come home, so much like the way Mannie did. He follows me everywhere, waits patiently for me to give him rubs and pets. He's such a sweetie. He must really like his new toys that Santa Claws brought him - they were scatted all over the front room, into the kitchen. :lol: :lol: YAY Bug! Elsa has latched onto the new nanner, and in true Mannie fashion, has not shared it. :lol: :lol: :lol: GO ELSA! Sure seems like Normalcy in MusketeerVille to me.
Have a great day everyone. I am meeting my son for Breffis - YAY! After that I am off to Seattle for a short trip to pick up my new specs. They are finally ready. HOORAY! New specs!!! I so hope I still like the ones I picked out..... :roll:
