Hi All
Sorry for not posting and thank you for worrying :bighug::bighug:
Was a wild day today.
AMBG 95:D
Gussie woke me up wanting food..very nice..on the way to the kitchen I stepped in barf, ( courtesy of Lola) which meant a side trip to get that cleaned up. got testing done, food choices put down, Gussie was eating, and all was well with the world..then I took a nice shower and got dressed, started dust mopping the floor to find one of the precious Zofran doses I dropped..found Lola's other pile of Barf..with the dust mop..totally gross..
Sidetracked again into the computer room looking for where I put my iPad down so I could post where I realized I had to set up my condo dues payment with the new company..tech issues...argh hate computers....suddenly it's time to get two cats into carriers into the vets..grab civvie Lola and snarling and scratching we head thru the house to the front room where the open carrier awaits..why do I smell pee?? Oh because she peed all over me from chest to boots and managed to get the floor wet from one end of the condo to the other...sidetrack to more cleaning...civvie Jett hiding under the covers believing if he holds really still he's invisible...newsflash, you are not invisible dude!....into the carrier and off we all go in the pouring rain...Gus got to stay home..he was feeling good...
$678 and breath still being held for what the labs will say, I got home only to drop cats, kiss my old fridge with a plea it hold on awhile longer, check and lay out food for Gus ( which he ate..Friskies again argh but I'll take it) and head out to the pet store to stock up on food Gus might want to eat! And to drop off my donation to my local rescue.
I think I bought a can or two of everything on the OK foods list...literally..people were actually staring..
Came home totally drenched because I left my rain coat and umbrella in the car on the far end of the parking lot.....and my garage is a ways from my unit..
And that takes up to how the day got away from me...

Gussie is eating today, I'm thinking the Cerenia +Zofran is the ticket for him.
Talked to the vet, he didn't think the RC recovery would be good as its fattier than he'd like him to have just yet, and he doesn't use the SD brand. He gave ( sold) me more Cerenia so we've got Cerenia, Zofran, Bupe Topical which seems to work well for him, fluids as needed, and added B-12 shots weekly which he sent home with me. I asked about stinging and he said the format he gave did not sting, the yellow complex does red does not. ( I had to have B12 injections, mine was the red and I never felt them).

I am going to sneak out to a friends for New Year's Eve pulled pork supper, kind of nice they don't have to bring it here for a change...

Happy New Year wishes to all:bighug::bighug:

2016 is a year I will not be unhappy to see in the rear view BUT 2016 with all of its strife, and heartache brought me here, and to the amazing fellowship offered by you all. For that, I will always be grateful and remember 2016 fondly as a year with very fine moments and new found friends...
Happy New Year LL!!!:bighug::bighug:

I'm glad everything is okay and you just had a crazy day. Good news Gussie is still eating. I hope you get good test results back from the vet. Enjoy visiting your friends. Happy New Year.

Thank you Carla! happy New year and thank you for always being there with support each morning, it means a lot:bighug:

What a morning! Tiffany used to one on me on the way to the carrier. I finally got wise and didn't put on my pants until after she was in it so I could wash my legs and then get dressed, lol.

It's been my experience that B12 doesn't sting. B Complex does.

Happy New Year!

Hey Les, I couldn't agree with you more about saying bye bye to 2016 in the rear view mirror! Way to stressful of a year for me too. Here's to a better year starting tomorrow!

Happy New Year. Thank you for the companionship you've offered Uncle and I. It has made an immeasurable difference in our lives.
Wishing for the best for you and Gussie in 2017!

I am so glad the Gussie is eating - welcome to the cerenia/ondansteron/cypro club - there' s several of us here but we manage - I do consider those drugs to be miracles and sounds like you found what works for Gussie
Murphy needs food free of the gums and carrageenan - you might keep a eye on what food he reacts to (and what he will eat, of course)
One thing is clear - throughout this ordeal with his pancreas, his remission held so that is a very strong remission - congrats on that
Best wishes for a wonderful 2017 to you, Les
