Poor Cobb. I'm sure he feels lousy in these numbers (second only to Matt who is, no doubt, beating himself up).

Like I said yesterday, how about putting a rubber band around one of the vials so you don't risk mixing them up again.
 
Yes, we will be identifying the R better. I actually had it in the box, but the vial of Lev was not. But I know I never told Matt the difference. He was never comfortable giving R without me there so I always did it.

Matt is being a bit short with me because I might have yelled at him in my concern. Oh well...
 
I've mixed up the pens more than once. Okay, I'm a slow learner. I hope Cobb slides down gently real soon. You and Matt are doing such a great job with him. Don't beat yourselves up. This too shall pass.
 
Altho' HI is ugly, I'm SO thankful last night ended up being a non-event.

Matt - HUGE HUGS, it ended up being OK and Suzanne didn't holler at you on purpose, she was just scared and you were convenient.
 
Cobb is coming back down nicely. Since I'm back, I'll be pushing his shot back to his normal schedule so PMPS will be around +15 tonight. I'll update more then.
 
Woohoo! :joyful: Numbers! So thankful here that things seem to be working out. Matt deserves a bug hug, I'm sure his stress was through the roof.

this is the one benefit to being a big gulper - they seem to be able to handle these things better than you would ever think. That must've been incredibly stressful when he realized what he'd done. I can only imagine.

We kept the R in the butter compartment in the door of the fridge and the Lantus vial in the regular part of the refrigerator in that little mug from the video. When we used pens, we kept the current one in the butter compartment too and the boxes of new ones in the back of the vegetable drawer. The good thing is that no matter what, you guys will likely never make this mistake again, and of course, the best thing is that he's fine. Some of these high numbers may be from lack of a depot with the Lev now. It'll build back up and he'll get back on track before long.
