At +1.75 Clyde is at a nice 78 and looks to be on track to spend most of the day in the lagoon. He's telling all of the other kitties...come on down the water is fine! :D
 
awesomeness! you know that is kinda funny that his amps numbers have dropped into green but not the pmps. Typically the pmps numbers come down first because the amps is affected by dawn phenomenon. I guess Clyde's doing things his own way.

Have you tried giving him a bite of low carb, literally one teaspoon, at am +8/9 yet? That can be enough to stimulate a healing pancreas and get it to put out a little insulin, thereby bringing down the next preshot number. If you haven't done it yet, it might be worth trying.
 
Unfortunately I haven't tried that. Part of my problem is I don't usually get home from work until +11.5ish in his cycle. :(

The last couple of days there has been a little bit of food left in the dish when I get home, that Max and Clyde haven't eaten. Not much, maybe a tablespoon. Max is crying up a storm for fresh food when I walk in and Clyde is just chilling on the bed. When I've been home on weekends I notice they don't usually eat it all at once but eat a bit and then every couple of hours come out later to graze. :)
 
No worries...I'm willing to try any ideas :) For some reason, Clyde doesn't want to eat until maybe around +1 - +2 from his PMPS, which at that point his BG has started to drop. I think he's getting a late afternoon snack but it's hard to tell. :)
 
Exactly...he will do it his way. I got home early from work due to the holiday and did a spot check and at +9.5 he's at 122 and laying in his spot on the bed purring up a storm.
