The slight dose increase didn't do much, I know that you have to be patient but her curves were still high and consistent. Going on the 24-48 hour rule, I decided to go to 1.50. I know this is probably not going to make a lot of you happy, but I truly feel like this is the best decision for right now. I don't plan on any further changes, but given how much insulin she needed previously, I think this is a more accurate dosage. We are around these next two days and have been getting more readings, so we can monitor.

She did throw up this morning but other than that spirits are fine and she has been playing (as much as she calls what she does "playing"...lazy cat).

Yup, you're right. I think you increased too soon. Please get a +4.

My husband tested her at +4 and got 165. I'll test again in a half hour which would be +6.

I can go back to 1.25 this evening if you think the increase was too soon. Also, we won't be around too much this evening to test often.
