MJ's comment was so funny last night, it bears repeating...

Sknib was "bass ackward" indeed! :lol:

all 5 p's present already this am...it's a balmy -2 degrees at our place...time to head for the tropics!

We watched Binks favorite PBS show last night "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill"...and it occurred to me that we should come up with
a documentary of our own...perhaps "The Crazy Beans of Lantus Land".

Roni has a video camera...and we've got, like...50 great screenwriters here...so...

food for thought. if only because the documentary and book generated enough interest and money to support those birds for a very long time!! :lol:

is it time to open the champagne and toast the new year yet?

Well, Celi, it's probably going to be up to you keep all of the observations, comments, etc. in a file for future use. There are clearly priceless moments that deserve being saved for posterity.

Great start for the Binksman. Keep on surfing!! A bit of the bubbly may help keep that surf up - don't ya think?

Nice AMPS for the Binkster this morning but we didn't get our normal torti report to see how the battle fares and if Binks is still in a snit over the mouse!! Hope your knee is doing better today. Man is it cold up there!!!!

Hey...I'm the one that said "no MC" at the party because I thought you meant MEDIUM CARB and the kitties don't need any med carb :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I got LL lingo brain.

I love the parrots of telegraph hill. I don't watch it often because I cry. Still can't believe every time that he left them all behind.

here's a milestone for us...annie's playing with the tiger tail toy, and binks and smudge are taking turns with the yarn rollers...

THE NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO PROTECT THE POTENTIALLY EMBARRASSED.

At +8 on 12/31/10, I woke from a nap on the couch in the sun to a report of "Possible Multiple Purrs Uttered".
Upon examining the scene, I discovered a grey manx male named "Dinks" snoozing while snuggling in my arms...
a large Tortoiseshell female known as "Grudge" alternately snoring and purring on my lap...
and a slender, somewhat whiny, smaller Tortie female known as "Grannie" curled up around my feet.

No citations were issued...and none of the suspects taken into custody...but all were treated to Pure Bites Chicken Treats at the scene!
When they realized their deeds had been discovered, all three fled the scene (by about a foot and a half)...and are currently still lying unruffled about the couch.


wow...this may bode well for the new year in "Dinkstown" :-D

well...the company has arrived...annie & smudge got in a fight...so back to the bedroom...dinner is almost ready, and the boy is green!!

doc made it to town...didn't shoot the boy and not cooking...imagine she'll at least pop the cork on the champagne when it's time!

i tend to do new year's wishes on the 1st...but for those of you who may not be on tomorrow...may the new year bring you only good things!!

(hope this recipe i snagged from Lydia's Italy turns out :shock: )

Great to see that the kitties held a bit of a truce today. It must have been a very precious moment for you. Bink's numbers are super. Great way to finish a year.
