So, thought we would sleep in today and not test as he was to be fasting. I picked up his bowl at +5 last night. His civvie sister did nothing but bug us till I got up to feed her @ 800 AM. And guess he is hungry this morning...yep Jones. Gave him a little tsp to wash down his meds and went back to bed. Since then he has been driving me nuts with his pica behaviours. Chewing on cords, getting onto the counter, eating crumbs off the floor, chewing on the charger cards... .ARRRGGGGGGHHH:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: I gave in and gave him a 1/4 can of the Rawz Turkey. It is very low carb so I am hoping his numbers aren't too crazy tonight as I skipped this morning with the idea he would be fasting all day. :blackeye:


He had a really good poop at 730AM but then had a cow patty 20 minute later!!! I am beginning to think the CS was giving him a lot of the kibble which is why his numbers dropped so much with the increase and why he developed diarrhea. It is all a fine balance with him. So I am going to stick to just the Rawz Turkey for the next few days and if things improve and stay well, I will introduce the Rawz Rabbit and see how that goes.

Again, he spent most the night cuddled up close and purring.

Well, need to run and get some groceries, pick up my new glasses and some nature's miracle.

Sorry the fasting didn't work out. I hope the Rawz Turkey works and his poop gets and stays normal. Sending prayers.
 
I ended up feeding him 3/4 of a can of Rawz over the day. Total fast time was about 8 hours. The pops have gone from Normal to two watery poops over the last 5 hours.

I don't know whether to try again tomorrow or just try the rabbit. He doesn't feel good. I don't feel good.

Think I am just going to try the rabbit.
 
So gave him some rabbit with his dinner. He has finally settled down but his tummy was working overtime today. He was chewing on power cords, charger cords, picking who knows what from the floor and eating it. I am frazzled today.
 
I am so sorry that he is still watery poo. The diarrhea thing is so maddening when they have it out of no where.........I hope tomorrow will be a better day. Can you try and get a couple of SEB balls down him?
