Everybody fed, watered, and since it is "warm" here today...fresh aired! Looks like 3 P's in place and did I not open a Condo yesterday :?:

Anybody here do New Year's Resolutions?

I am only making one this year and it is similar to the resolution I did a few years ago, but I will be tracking it on my Facebook page. The resolution is to log 5 things everyday to be grateful for, I've invited my FB friends to join me in this endeavor and I invite those on FD to do so as well! I will be posting my gratitude journal online on my FB page and you are welcome to join me there. ;-)

I love the idea of starting your day off with gratitudes. I don't do new years resolutions but it is something I would like to do - be more grateful for the things I do have and appreciate them every day. Thanks for sharing.

I too love the idea of starting the day out with gratitudes. A great approach for all of us. :-D

Very nice start for Attie today!!! He wants to feel really great for the party.

Beth...I do a mental 5 things to be thankful for every day before I get up...sort of my morning routine. It really helps to put things into perspective. Wish I could be so motivated to write them down :lol: :lol: :lol: I wish you luck with your resolution....it is a very noble one!!! Have a great day!

the kitties are getting a shrimp surprise this evening ....

My, my what surprise indulgences do you have for the New Year. We do a bit of seafood on the Eve. While we did have a Tiny Tim Christmas...we are splurging just a little for New Years. We were able to eke out for under $25 some shrimp, Greek Stuffed Grape Leaves, Olives, and some cheese & crackers. All indulgences, but as Burt Wolf pointed out, that usher in prosperity for the New Year. Combined with some of our humble pantry items...we shall have a little feast for the evening.

Of course the kitties will get to indulge in the shrimp too.


Mannie, Beans gots shrimpers in the coolbox!!! I knows I can sneak'em onto da' bus! Me and the MudSter wants to come...we gets the shrimps... Beans only eats 'bouts 12 of 'em. We gets the rest. We'll savem' and brings them for tonights! ~~Attie & Mudds

I love it :lol: I have to remember to pick up a shrimp or two for Maverick. I completely forgot AGAIN! ohmygod_smile

Attie's been getting some blues, hope he clears the bounce quickly and gets back into those prettier numbers!

Mr Tinkles knows exactly what to do with a whole shrimp, as with any other food that happens to come his way! :mrgreen: It's my civie Angel that needs the shrimp cut into tiny pieces or she will walk away... :roll:

Thanks so very much Nicole and Baby...

It means so much to me that others are will to join in on the Gratitude Journal. How very often we forget...

Even when I did this the first time, between friends...it was surprisingly hard to do. then...at the end of the year we sent a recap of the year....pictures and quotes of each other's lives...wow......

just wow.

J.D. has shrimp breath, too, right now.
It's wonderful, that you are doing the gratitude thing. I noticed that I started saying "Thank You, God" more recently. It's a good thing.
