Last night, Mr. Simon decided to dive down into the green lagoon, going into the 40's and 50's. He got to eat all kinds of yummy food so I would not have to worry about him overnight. Now he has bounced into his favorite color it seems - pink! It is funny that I have to beg him to eat his regular food, but the minute I put some HC food in front of him, he acts like he can't get enough. I guess I act the same way with chocolate.

Off to work for the day but will most likely get a chance to come back home for lunch to check Simon. He is doing well this morning and is snuggly in his bed.

Happy Tuesday!

so many more smileys but still not the laughing one - insert him here about your chocolate/HC food comparison!

Come on down Simon - but nice and steady you don't want to bounce off the bottom of that lagoon again

Have a nice day at work Georgia

Ah, Simon, the carb stuff is delish isn't it. But don't make a habit of it! Too much of a good thing and it's not a good thing anymore.

'Cept maybe chocolate!

Simon did not want to eat much at lunch and he didn't eat his afternoon snack. Tonight, the only thing that he wanted was Friskies Liver and Chicken, so that is what I gave him. I wish he had the appetite he had before pancreatitis :(

Is he still on any of the p-titis meds? Maybe he still has a touch of it going on, in addition to the possibility of aversion. For Trix, I kept her on Pepcid twice a day and Cerenia every other day - she still gets them both, along with the daily fluids. Of course she does have kidney issues, too, but I do find the meds seem to keep her feeling comfortable all the time. Any time I've tried to cut them back, she has backslid, so I stopped trying to cut them back...it's working, so I keep going with it.

Sending appy vines to Simon!

Sending tons of appy vines for Simon. Cerenia worked wonders for Zener but he had totally different issues (IBD). Our vet thinks it's a miracle drug.
